Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: January, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

A little pricey than what we’re used to but it’s an ok park. The sites are gravel and fairly level, but leveling blacks u must have so u make it work. The laundry room is wonderful. The machines are new, and the room is spacious. The bathrooms are wonderful. Very clean, fresh smelling with 3 stalls and 3 shower stalls. The shower is amazing. Very clean, hot water, good flow...awesome after the last place we stayed. It’s noisy here. The highway is right there, so the truck noise is constant. We slept well, so it didn’t bother us inside though it can still be heard.
The salvage yard is across the street from the park, and they start at 6am...so there’s a lot of noise from there as they move mounds of metal. Lots of booms and shakes the ground a bit as they drop stuff. So if you want quiet, this is not the place for you.
There’s a nice camp store if you need anything, and the staff is friendly. So all in all we enjoyed our stay, but it’s very noisy. The showers and restrooms are super clean We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Point Mallard Park, Decatur, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a dump! We stayed here to be close to my best friend, but I wouldn’t stay here if they paid me! It’s old, and very uncared for and it shows. The bathrooms are old, old, old. Chipping paint, messy, small stalls, not cared for. The “showers” are the worst I’ve ever seen. The faucets and shower heads look like they were installed in the 1950s, and barely a trickle of water comes out if you want it hot. The other showers in the other building have no hot water at all. Think they told us this when we registered??? Hell no! Like I sold folks THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! I’m ashamed to be staying here. The “staff” is just a few kids standing around shooting the bull with each other. Uninterested, unmotivated and lazy. Please do not attempt to buy a bag of ice. It had probably been in there for years, and was dirty... yes. Dirty ice. Unacceptable disgusting place. Boring, unkempt, unclean and just a bad vibe all the way around. They should all be ashamed.. THIS PLACE IS A DUMP and people need to know! Do not stay here! We camped at Point Mallard Park in a Travel Trailer.

Birmingham South Campground, Pelham, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. The sites are gravel, but close together. Fairly level. The store here is unlike any I’ve seen. They have everything you could ever need for your rig in there, including ice . Traffic around here is pretty bad if you’re needing to go anywhere, so plan accordingly. Nice showers, laundry and all the hookups. I’d stay here again We camped at Birmingham South Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines), Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Fantastic place. Loved it here. Got a lovely spot on 3 hours notice. Staff in the office was superb, and super friendly. Very welcoming. The showers and restrooms are super clean and spacious, laundry machines were clean and it great working order. Right off of I-10 which is noisy, but it didn’t bother us at all. We felt very safe here. Spacious, lots of trees, sitting areas for groups, picnic tables. Everything you need for full hookup. All in all we’d definitely stay here again.
