When my wife and I checked in, we asked for a spot away from children and afternoon shade. The clerks put us into a direct sun (all day), which by luck our 5th wheeler didn't fit, so they let us pick another site. The sites are not level and very tight: little room for slide outs. We had to hug one side of the site in order to enter/exit our RV door. What bothered us the most was the park was 90% empty and mid week, the host puts two families with several kids right next to us and directly across from us. They could have easily put them away from seniors like us. My wife asked for our money back and we left. We will not return to this campsite again.

I along with fellow Elk's campers stayed here this last weekend. The folks at the RV park really know how to treat their guest...kind, friendly and very helpful. The restrooms and showers were the cleanest I've ever seen at any RV park I've visited. The park is walking distance from Foster Lake and has a pub right next door. The only noise you hear is an occasional car on Hwy 20 or the logging mill next door. Be advise the mill starts at 6am, that's early if you're trying to sleep in. My wife and I would stay there again along with our dogs...we all had a great time. Keep up the great work

Overall campground was nice. Sites are pretty close to each other; no privacy. No fire pits, you have to rent them. Sites are not level, wish they would spend a few dollars to properly grade each site. Strange that they had hookups on the wrong side, had to purchase more hose to connect. Campground is very quite considering you are right on Hwy 101. Host are very nice, they even help get you into your site. Would stay there again if I could get a different site.

My wife and I visited this park four years ago and fell in love with the surroundings. We stayed here for a week this last September. We saw a number of deer in and around the campsites and even had a visit from a bobcat. The roads are in pretty bad shape and the individual RV sites are not level, so you'd be smart to bring something to help level you rig. We saw security and maintenance cars driving around everyday but a number of sites are in need of repair. Faucets leaking, cable connectors broken/cracked, and drains that easily overflow. Going late in September all of the amenities were closed, store, bait shop, arcade, no boats. Lake water level was also extremely low, but there were fish to be caught. We like this RV resort and will stay here again.

Very nice and clean RV park. The host was very helpful and even took us directly to our site. The park is clean and well maintained. The only negative comment I could make would be the noise from the highway, which is very close to the park. We would stay at this RV park again, if we are down that way.

This was our first trip to Camp Kiwanda. The staff are all extremely helpful and nice. They have a very nice store (both clothing and food). What is really nice is your only one block away from the beach. The only thing we didn't like were the rabbits!! Rabbits have taken over the park and there are rabbit droppings everywhere. Make sure you have a door mat to clean off your shoes before you go into your rig.

Very nice park but when we were there; there were kids everywhere. Each RV section has a host and they are very nice. The only negative comment I'd make are the bugs, but then again there isn't much you can do about that. Check in was easy and it was nice to see a host driving around with firewood for sale. My wife and I love camping here and have done it many times.
