Pine Acres Resort, Upper Lake, California

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park on a small lake. We spent one night and would stop again. You could get a 40' in if you are a really good driver and the place wasn't full, we had a 35' motorhome. Spaces are small and dirt. There are cabins and an area for tents. Other people there said the place is packed in the summer. We camped at Pine Acres Resort in a Motorhome.

The Redwoods RV Resort, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $32.00

This used to be The Ramblin Rose RV Park. It has changed dramatically. The setting is as beautiful as can be. Heavily treed. Large level sites. Nice central location for the area. We will stay here every time through the area. We camped at The Redwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bullards Beach State Park, Bandon, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Really a nice park. Lots of trees. If you have a big rig, get reservations, this place was full when we arrived at 4pm. We parked a 35' in a 25' space, so the spaces are large. The water is a long walk away and it isn't the ocean, but that was OK. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Valley of the Rogue State Park, Gold Hill, Oregon

Our favorite place on I-5. Huge spaces. Lots of trees. Big rig friendly with easy access and wide roads. One mile trail along the river. I recommend reservations through September if you have a big rig. It was full by 4pm on a Thursday. We camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park in a Motorhome.

Eugene Kamping World RV Park, Coburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the worst places we have stayed. The spaces are small. The roads narrow. We missed our neighbors awning by about 6 inches and we are only 35'. Our sewer hook up was under our neighbor's awning. There was a sewer main vent pipe right outside our window. The pull thrus were back-outs. The truck stop next door would have been better. We camped at Eugene Kamping World RV Park in a Motorhome.
