We stopped here overnight and really enjoyed our stay. This is a free campground along the Natchez Trace with no hookups. The sites and roads are asphalt, and the sites include a picnic table, trash can, fire ring and a pole to hang a lantern on. It was nice and quiet, with sounds of nature all around. Very peaceful! Would definitely return.

Date of Stay:

The sites are long, concrete pull-throughs, but are extremely unlevel. We could not level our coach at all, even with wood under the tires. Since we were only there for one night, we managed. The utilities worked fine, and the sky was clear for satellite. There is a Pizza Hut carry out place right across the street, so that was convenient for dinner. Probably would not return to this campground.

This is by far the nicest TT we have stayed in. A lot of money has recently been put into the park.....4 brand new pickleball courts, and a GORGEOUS pool with cabanas with TVs (a first for us at a TT) to name a couple . The sites are a little run down, still, but this is typical of what we see at TTs. The utilities worked well, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. Conroe is about 10 mins away, and has about any type of shopping or eatery you could want. Highly recommend.

We stayed here 4 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. The lady in the office (Kate?.....super nice lady with British accent) was friendly and efficient.....we arrived when she had gone to lunch and left our paperwork on the door for us. :-). Our site was long and level, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. Utilities worked as they should. There is a nice pool and access to the river should you want to canoe, kayak or tube. Luling is a cute little town....make sure to go to the Oil Patch museum and the Mill. We went to Black's BBQ in nearby Lockhart for the BEST brisket we have ever tasted. We would definitely return if in the area......highly recommend.

This campground was a great place to stay while exploring Fort Davis. The camphost was friendly and helpful, and takes your money after you get set up. (Cash or check only). The sites were long and level, and each site had a covered picnic table. Utilities worked as they should, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. Fort Davis (the fort itself) is an interesting visit, and the observatory is a must see. We also enjoyed lunch and ice cream at the hotel/drugstore in town. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed a week here, exploring Big Bend NP and Big Bend Ranch SP. This was a great home base location for both parks. The park is well laid out, with spacious sites. Utilities worked well, we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite, and we had decent Verizon cell service. Stock up with groceries before you come, as the local markets are expensive. (Cottonwood Market is by far the best......good selection, and the most reasonably priced.) The campground has a pool and a clubhouse. We enjoyed our stay here, and would return if in the area.

Price reflects combined SKP and Passport America Discounts (we stayed 4 days total.... we used PA discount for 2 days, and SKP discount for 2 days). This park is very clean, and well laid-out. The sites are long, level and concrete. There are treed sites, which is great for shade, but not so much for satellite. (We have a portable dish that we use for situations like this, so no worries!). Utilities worked well, and we had a great Verizon signal. Highly recommend, and would stay here again.

This is a basic rv park that served our needs well for an overnight stay. Utilities worked well, clear sky for satellite, and good cell signal. Would stop here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights while passing though the area. The campground is about 10 mins outside of the downtown San Antonio, and there is a city bus stop across the street from the campground entrance, should you choose to use public transportation for sight-seeing (We ended up driving ourselves). It is in a great central location for seeing the Alamo, downtown, and missions. There are plenty of restaurants and ample shopping nearby as well. The sites are long, level and gravel, with a few trees to provide shade. The park is clean and well-maintained, and the utilities worked as they should. (NOTE: The water pressure here is 160 psi, so a water pressure regulator is MANDATORY!!) We would stay here again if in the area.

The rate shown is Passport America. We stayed here for one night, and enjoyed our stay. The park is right off I-10.....easy off and on again. We had a long, level concrete pull-thru, right near the exit. The park is very clean and well-maintained. They serve a free breakfast each morning.....coffee, juice, cereal, waffles, bagels, biscuits and gravy. A very nice touch! The utilities worked well, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.....highly recommend!

The rate we paid was Passport America. PLEASE NOTE: Passport America rate is only good Mon-Wed, 1 night only, CASH ONLY, and the park is supposedly dropping passport America Jan. 1, 2016 We enjoyed our stay here very much. We got a back-in site by the lake, which was not as shady, but gave us a good shot at satellite. We had a long, level concrete pad, and it was double wide to allow for a nice patio area, with picnic table included. The park is very clean and well-maintained, with picnic pavilions available for use, and a sparkling, refreshing pool to cool off in. The utilities worked great, and it was easy access to the interstate. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and enjoyed our stay. The resort is clean and beautiful. The sites we were on (252) was a pull-in, with a nice view of the lake and fountain, and was close to the clubhouse. The pool was beautiful, but chilly (unheated?), and the "hot tub" had to be turned on 30 mins prior to use in order for it to be "hot". (?) The clubhouse is gorgeous, with nice exercise facilities, a massage room, a sauna, mens/ladies locker rooms, a movie theater, and gathering area with bar and kitchen. I did not give the resort a "10" due to its lack of other amenities......we have been to other parks that offer a lot more for the price (outdoor sports facilities, clubs for any interest, etc) The utilities worked as they should, we had a strong Verizon signal, and a clear shot of the sky for satellite. I would stay here again, but would not consider buying a site, due to lack of amenities for the price.

We stayed here for one night on our way south. The park's roads were very narrow and windy, and in need of repair. Most of the sites are occupied by annuals, so there are very few transient sites to choose from. There were only 6 or so sites available, and of those, we could get our 40-foot motorhome into one or two. We chose the one accessible site closest to the exit, and it was very unlevel, as were all the sites available to us. Utilities worked as they should, and we got a strong Verizon cell signal. However, we will not return to this park.

This is a great, convenient and relaxing place to stay while visiting Savannah. The property is unique in that it was once a farm, and it has been repurposed well. We stayed in site 3, a pull-thru, and it was easy to access, but found the utilities to be "split".......power and sewer on the correct side, and water on the passenger side. (Not a problem, though.....we had enough hose). Not all of the sites are set up like this, but for some reason, ours was. The Old Town Trolley is a great way to visit Savannah, and they even come right to the campground to pick you up, so you don't have to drive into town to sightsee. All utilities worked well, we had a good Verizon signal, and had no obstructions for satellite. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a convenient, relaxing location in which to stay while visiting Charleston. The office staff is very friendly, and although they assigned us to a site that was already occupied, they remedied the situation quickly. Sites are gravel and grass, and are long and level. Water pressure was low, even with our pressure regulator taken off. Verizon signal is strong, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
