We stayed here for 3 nights while passing though the area. The campground is about 10 mins outside of the downtown San Antonio, and there is a city bus stop across the street from the campground entrance, should you choose to use public transportation for sight-seeing (We ended up driving ourselves). It is in a great central location for seeing the Alamo, downtown, and missions. There are plenty of restaurants and ample shopping nearby as well. The sites are long, level and gravel, with a few trees to provide shade. The park is clean and well-maintained, and the utilities worked as they should. (NOTE: The water pressure here is 160 psi, so a water pressure regulator is MANDATORY!!) We would stay here again if in the area.

The rate shown is Passport America. We stayed here for one night, and enjoyed our stay. The park is right off I-10.....easy off and on again. We had a long, level concrete pull-thru, right near the exit. The park is very clean and well-maintained. They serve a free breakfast each morning.....coffee, juice, cereal, waffles, bagels, biscuits and gravy. A very nice touch! The utilities worked well, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.....highly recommend!

The rate we paid was Passport America. PLEASE NOTE: Passport America rate is only good Mon-Wed, 1 night only, CASH ONLY, and the park is supposedly dropping passport America Jan. 1, 2016 We enjoyed our stay here very much. We got a back-in site by the lake, which was not as shady, but gave us a good shot at satellite. We had a long, level concrete pad, and it was double wide to allow for a nice patio area, with picnic table included. The park is very clean and well-maintained, with picnic pavilions available for use, and a sparkling, refreshing pool to cool off in. The utilities worked great, and it was easy access to the interstate. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and enjoyed our stay. The resort is clean and beautiful. The sites we were on (252) was a pull-in, with a nice view of the lake and fountain, and was close to the clubhouse. The pool was beautiful, but chilly (unheated?), and the "hot tub" had to be turned on 30 mins prior to use in order for it to be "hot". (?) The clubhouse is gorgeous, with nice exercise facilities, a massage room, a sauna, mens/ladies locker rooms, a movie theater, and gathering area with bar and kitchen. I did not give the resort a "10" due to its lack of other amenities......we have been to other parks that offer a lot more for the price (outdoor sports facilities, clubs for any interest, etc) The utilities worked as they should, we had a strong Verizon signal, and a clear shot of the sky for satellite. I would stay here again, but would not consider buying a site, due to lack of amenities for the price.

We stayed here for one night on our way south. The park's roads were very narrow and windy, and in need of repair. Most of the sites are occupied by annuals, so there are very few transient sites to choose from. There were only 6 or so sites available, and of those, we could get our 40-foot motorhome into one or two. We chose the one accessible site closest to the exit, and it was very unlevel, as were all the sites available to us. Utilities worked as they should, and we got a strong Verizon cell signal. However, we will not return to this park.

This is a great, convenient and relaxing place to stay while visiting Savannah. The property is unique in that it was once a farm, and it has been repurposed well. We stayed in site 3, a pull-thru, and it was easy to access, but found the utilities to be "split".......power and sewer on the correct side, and water on the passenger side. (Not a problem, though.....we had enough hose). Not all of the sites are set up like this, but for some reason, ours was. The Old Town Trolley is a great way to visit Savannah, and they even come right to the campground to pick you up, so you don't have to drive into town to sightsee. All utilities worked well, we had a good Verizon signal, and had no obstructions for satellite. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a convenient, relaxing location in which to stay while visiting Charleston. The office staff is very friendly, and although they assigned us to a site that was already occupied, they remedied the situation quickly. Sites are gravel and grass, and are long and level. Water pressure was low, even with our pressure regulator taken off. Verizon signal is strong, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

What a gem of a park! This is a large, beautiful, peaceful campground with full hookups. Some sites are shaded, some are not. Huntsville is an easy 20-30 min drive from this campground. The camphost was friendly and helpful. Utilities worked well, we had good cell coverage, and a clear shot of the sky for satellite. We will definitely stay here when in the area again.

This campground is conveniently located next to the Space and Rocket Center. It is an older campground, but the sites are large......some shaded, some not. There is 30 amp electrical service there, and we had an issue with the voltage dropping so low, our surge protector would shut down power to the coach. This happened several times a day, so we ended up leaving early, and found another nearby campground.

We stayed here while we were in town having maintenance work done on our motorhome. We have stayed previously at the service center campground and the self-serve campground, and we prefer this one so far. Since we are on concrete, there is no dust like there is at the other two campgrounds, and the downtown location is convenient (you can walk to the grocery store). Payment is cash or check, and you just leave your payment in an envelope in the payment box on site. The utilities worked well, and we had good cell service. We will definitely stay here again when in Red Bay.

What a gem of a park! Easy access to I-40, and there are restaurants and a grocery store/strip shopping center within walking distance. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Sites are long, level and gravel, with several pull-thrus available so the overnighter does not need to unhook. All utilities worked very well, we had great Verizon cell service and a clear shot of the sky for satellite. We will DEFINITELY stay here again when in the area......highly recommend.

We always enjoy COE campgrounds. We stayed in the "B" loop, which had 50 amp water and electric. The site was grass and stone/sand......not a problem until it rained, and it got a little mucky. The water and electric worked as it should, and we had to use our portable satellite dome as we had heavier tree cover (great for shade!). The "A" loop is mostly 30amp electric service/water, but the sites are concrete, and there is a better view of the water. We would try to stay in that section next time we are in the area. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 3 nights on our trip from Las Vegas to the East Coast. The FREE camping utilities (50amp FHU) worked great, we had a pretty view out of our front window, a clear shot of the sky for satellite, great Verizon cell service, security watching over us, $10 vouchers for slot play, free soft drinks and a restaurant on site. We will definitely stay here again if in the area......highly recommend!

We stopped here overnight on our way from Arizona to the East Coast. This park is a great overnight stop. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the sites are long and level, easy in and out. The utilities worked well, and looked like they were recently upgraded. There is a clear shot of the sky for satellite, but the park offers cable as well, with a large selection of channels. The park is nothing fancy, but serves its purpose well. We would return if in the area again.

This was our first time staying here, but based on others' reviews, we knew what to expect. The sites are close together, and are gravel, and the hookups are to the rear of each site. We found the location to be very convenient to local attractions, shopping and restaurants. The utilities worked as they should, we had a good Verizon cell signal, and a clear shot of the sky for satellite. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again when in the area.
