This is the worst park I have ever been in. Now I know how the minorities were treated in Alabama in the early 60s. The realty broker is one of the most unprofessional, disrespectful people I have ever had the unpleasant opportunity to have dealings with. This is mostly park models. The call it a resort, but it is a low class trailer park. The chief of security uses profanity all the time and calls his employees names. The residents treat you like an old shoe. The facilities are no better than any other campground I have been in. I would never go back and do not recommend anyone else come here. We had a guy that started drinking at 8AM everyday and then drove his golf cart around after he had about 10 beers. Management knew it, but never said anything to him, even after he yelled at renters. What a jerk!

The nicest thing about this park was the staff. The roads are in major need of repair. The roads were narrow, cracked, broken, bumpy and had potholes. I really needed my coach to have 4 wheel drive. It was uphill and UNLEVEL. I was told we could use our sat TV and we could not. The bathrooms were either old or not clean I couldn't tell. For a $40 a night price it ranks with a resort and resorts have cable TV and this park did not. I did not see any pull throughs that would accommodate a big rig. This is a terrible park and we will not be back.

This campground has nice interior roads, level concrete sites, good power, good water pressure, but we had a problem with brown water. We were not alerted to the terrible sediment in the water and it caused us to go through 3 filters in a matter of weeks. The park is adequate but not really a resort. Workout equipment was in need of repair. Wi-FI was limited at best while on your site. Hwy 19 road noise was loud but not intolerable. This is an owner's park and we were treated very well with one exception that was terrifying. *ALERT!* While we were here, my wife was verbally assaulted by the owner of site 237. She was walking our dog at the edge of his property and he came out of his RV and started screaming at her to get her dog off his property and not come back. She thought he was going to kick our dog or hit her. I informed the manager and he told me he was aware of the problem as he had several complaints about this guy. He asked me to write a complaint letter. I did and brought it to him and sent a copy to the Crystal River Sheriff's Dept. When I brought the letter to the manager, the President of the Board was there and read the letter and had a smirk on his face after he read it. I discovered that he has done this to several other women walking their dogs and one women that was walking her cat! The manager never confronted the owner of site 237 about the complaints and the new President of the Board denied any knowledge of any complaint. The manager told me the same guy told another renter that there was a petition to not allow renters that work at the power plant. I guess this park feels it is funny to have the owner of site 237 act in this manner because they have done nothing to discourage it. The same guy drove by me in his golf cart and screamed, "Are you leaving yet?" This person is rude at best and the park management does not appear to be concerned. This could be a nice park but the bad attitudes by the site owner and management makes it unappealing.

This park has come a long way in a year. The owners and daughter are the nicest people you will ever meet. There are long pull throughs that are very wide. Good power and good water pressure with good water. Easy on and off I-10 with shopping and restaurants close by. Just minutes from the Naval Air Museum and many other attractions. The owner of the park watches out for all of his guests and does not allow bad renters. Great cell-phone service and good Wi-Fi. You will not regret a stay for a night or a month at this park.

First let me say that the lot owners are wonderful people and this review is based on facts not opinions. This place has the worst manager of any campground I have stayed at in 34 states. The manager has no clue as to who comes in the park or even who stays in the park. There is not lighting in the park at night. The upper section has many ports built on owners sites. The lower section if a security nightmare. Boaters just drop in and park and the manager has no clue. I had to call the Sheriff's department due to an event that was caused by the manager's incompetence. Sites are wide once you get in but the interior roads are very narrow and you have to seesaw your rig to get into them. No cable and no amenities at this park. Pretty and quiet park but calling this a resort is like calling Detroit a tropical paradise. Kids run through site and play around parked RVs and the manager did not seem to care. I am sure the owners have all written wonderful reviews in order to get people to buy a lot and there are a bunch for resale. Lock everything if you stay here. The cost should be half for what you get. 15 miles to Wal-Mart and 10 to anything else. We will not come back.

What a refreshing nice little peaceful woodsy campground. The owner's husband must have had the greatest sense of humor as you will find out when taking a leisurely stroll on the walking trail. The ponds are full of fish and turtles that make you forget the hassle and bustle of everyday life. The power and water pressure were very good and the sites are very level. Lots of shade if that is what you are looking for. The owner runs and very good park and makes sure all her RVers are happy. Not all the amenities as other campgrounds but the peaceful atmosphere makes up for it. Several long term campers and all are very friendly. This is the only campground we will stay at when in the Athens area.

Park is beautiful and facilities are very good. However: bring your bug spray as the sites are infested with ants and many had bees (yellow jackets and bumble) and beetles. If you are not getting bitten by ants or have then all over your outdoor things you are getting chased by bees. While we were here 2 work campers got stung and one had to go to the hospital. Beetles are everywhere. Sites are not real level and the road noise is unbelievable. Be prepared to hear the owner's wife complain about every camper in the place if you go in the office. I think her attitude is give me your money and shut up.

After staying in parks around the country, it was fantastic to finally find a Resort that lived up to its designation as a "Resort". Bella Terra was everything advertised and more! Beautiful sunsets, Quiet nights, friendly RVers, immaculate facilities and on and on. The staff is second to none and our contact was awesome. This resort is only minutes, yes, minutes to anything you could ever want or think of wanting! If you only do one thing for yourself as a Class A motorcoach owner this has to be it. This is the most "comfortable" RV place anywhere! Well, at least in the 33 states we have been in!

We stayed here for a couple of days. Park just opened in Nov 08. Owners are very nice and helpful. Park is very clean except for a few long term 5th wheelers. On one side of me they let there dog out without a leash and it went the bathroom by my coach everyday. It was absolutely disgusting. The other side had 3 motorcycles that came and went at all hours. I saw dogs running loose all the time in the park. This park will go down hill very quickly if dog rules are not enforced. Rating is based on dog problem.

Very nice park. The owners are very nice and staff was just as kind. Great for a short stop over. Park was very clean and quiet. We will camp here again.

First we were told you pulled in and you can but your hookups are on the wrong side if you do that. Also if someone pulls in and you don't you get to become close friend because they will be in your site. We asked the rate and were told $25. We reserved a space and pulled in and were told our site was 35+ tax. They put us on the water side but on the next row it would be $25. They don't tell you that and that is wrong. If you have a dog and you walk it on a leash you would be the only one doing that. Dog run all over and owners don't pick up so watch where you walk. There are NO amenities. I'll give them one point for the view and one point for a level site. This is a rip off and we will not stay here again.

This is a monthly rate and does not include electric. One of the best run parks in the country. Owner and his staff are always looking to help you in any way they can. Sites are level and gravel. Private rest rooms and showers. If you are in the Dallas area this is where you should stay. Big rig friendly. Some road noise from I-20 but this park is worth it.

This is a month rate and includes cost of electricity. This is a convenient park to the hill country and Boerne shopping. All the staff members were very helpful. A very clean park. Our site was not level. Most of the big rigs had blocks under their wheels and jacks and so did we. There is easy access to I-10 but the negative was the highway noise.

The manager was very nice. This was just an overnight stop and fit the bill. Clean, wide site and level. We would stop here again when passing through.

First, if you use the pull throughs there are no sewer hook ups! The restrooms were nasty. There was a party going on well into the night and to say it was loud would be an understatement. The next day there were beer cans in the road and around the campground. It resembled a fraternity party from Animal House. There are ant mounds everywhere. If you can overlook these things it is an OK overnight stop. The roads to the park are very good but once in the park it is very narrow for a big rig. Once you register you have to circle the store and you had better be good to squeeze around to get back to your pull through site.
