Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best around. Great sites and people. Stay on the bottom section because of road noise on the top. Very clean restrooms, fitness center and clean sites. A little pricey but a great place stay and go wine tasting. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times and the place just gets better. The staff is great, everything is clean, the location if convenient and in season the oranges are wonderful. Add free coffee and doughnuts and what more could you ask for. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Lakes RV & Golf Resort, Chowchilla, California

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The back-in sites are short for a big motorhome, most sites do not have picnic tables, there is no place to sit in the restroom to put on your shoes and socks after your shower. Still it is a very nice stop, great if you play golf and the staff is very nice. We would stay here again but pay extra for the pull through. We camped at The Lakes RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course, Manteca, California

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Except for some road noise off of Highway 99 this is a great spot. They just added WiFi, the store is well stocked, the cafe is good and the golf course if not great is fun. The restrooms are always clean and the park is well maintained. The only draw back is a very limited cable system. We camped at French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course in a Motorhome.

Silver City RV Resort, Minden, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Price on the high side and you have to pay for WiFi, $5 for four hours and $2 a day for Cable extra. Also, Motothomes will have to unhook tow car to get into most sites as the streets are narrow. All in all, a nice place but next time I will try another park. We camped at Silver City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rocky Hock Campground, Edenton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This may not be the most modern facility we have ever stayed at but it was one of the nicest. Be there on a Friday night and get treated to a good old fashion country music get together performed by three generations of locals. If people make the difference then this one tops the list. We camped at Rocky Hock Campground in a Motorhome.
