East Bank, Wise River, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is a brand new Motor Coach Park on Lake Norman. The park is gated and the views of the lake are very nice. Everything was still new and the sites were paved and level. One thing for the park to consider is when full it may be challenging to get larger rigs to some of the lake front sites without scraping the ground going down the ramps from the road to the lake front lots. We did not experience any problem since there were open sites we could use to widen our turns. During our stay we observed some construction which was to later become a deck and bar on the lake. Overall nice place to visit and we may visit again in the future to see how things turn out once the construction is complete. We camped at East Bank in a Motorhome.

Statesville / I-77 KOA, Statesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We used this park as an overnight stop. The park was clean, and the site was fairly level. We were greeted when signing into the park, after hours, by a host who escorted us to our 50 amp pull through site. The park was pretty full however, very quiet. We would stay here again for an overnight stop however we were not at the park long enough to comment on the park during the day time hours. We camped at Statesville / I-77 KOA in a Motorhome.

Endless Caverns Resort, New Market, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The park staff was very friendly and arranged to meet us at the office even though we arrived after the office had closed. The site was clean and level, all of the connections (Water, Sewer, Electric) were in excellent shape. This was an overnight stop for us for this stay, however, the park was so nice we will come again for a long weekend. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Campground has some good attractions for children however the sites could be leveled and the sites could also been a little better kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a good site if you are exploring the caves however not the best campsite to stay on property for your weekend or vacation. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave in a Motorhome.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was nice; this was our 2nd stay here. This campground has nice sites, however when the park is crowded the sites seem a little close together. This mountain is a must see for people passing through the area and looking for a weekend adventure to explore. Purchasing tickets to the skylift and train at the campground office will save you a few dollars on admission. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort Clinch State Park, Fernandina Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent RV Park!! I would stay here again. The only thing keeping this from being a 10 is lack of sewer at the site. There is a dump station for both the Ocean and River Campground but no sites with sewer hookups. Great scenery and lots of wildlife we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fort Clinch State Park in a Motorhome.

Forsyth KOA, Forsyth, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground with easy access from I-75. There is some road noise if you are staying in the front of the park but it's quiet enough that we could sleep with the windows open to enjoy the nice temperatures. Staff was friendly and the store had everything we had forgotten. Overall there could be a few updates but I would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Forsyth KOA in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Campground! There were a lot of golf carts running around. We personally found it useful to walk to most everything in the park. The stores were full and complete of anything you may have forgotten, however they did carry Disney Prices. Overall a great park with lots to do and nice camp sites. *Special Tip*, From the beach near the marina there is great viewing of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first campsite in our new RV. The site was fairly level and the jacks were able to auto level without any wheels off the ground or blinking error lights. The power, water, and sewer was clean and easily accessible. The staff was friendly and we found lots of peace and quiet at our site. I would recommend this to other campers. The only down side of the park is the water taxi/shuttle to Stone Mountain Park only runs on Saturdays, during non peak times. This might be a bummer for people camping here during the week without a tow vehicle. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Motorhome.
