The community of Cow Head is an area worth at least a week-long stay. We spent two weeks here and enjoyed the Gros Morne Theatre Festival a couple of times, the local restaurants, the beautiful trails on the adjacent peninsula, as well as the attractions of Gros Morne National Park. The B&B/RV Park is very well managed and features eight large level gravel sites with full hookups (30-amp). The Wi-Fi was excellent. On reasonably clear days we were even able to access DirecTV with our rooftop dish. The view from the campground is an added bonus. The rate we paid was a weekly rate in Canadian dollars.

Date of Stay:

This is a great getaway for smaller rigs and park models. It rates lower as a big rig stopping spot. There are only a couple of sites that are level, big enough for a 40-foot RV, and have full hookups. The campground is situated on a lovely spot in the Poconos off the beaten path. Grocery stores and other amenities are about 10 miles away. There is no WiFi. On the plus side the sky is wide open for satellite reception and there is good cell phone access. The owners are very friendly and the permanent campers seem like a pleasant group of people. We had a nice quiet few days with the campground to ourselves. The Memorial Day weekend brought the regulars out and it was different but still a nice place with a nice view.

Date of Stay:

This is an exceptionally well managed RV park. It is meticulously groomed, with level gravel sites separated by grass. The sites were not huge but adequate for large rigs. There is a bike path next door that goes to Rivers Edge Park and the Flathead River. Utilities are good, including Wi-Fi. Satellite access is easy and cell signal is adequate.

Date of Stay:

The campground is located on a busy highway but there was not a noise issue. As mentioned in other reviews, the management is very friendly and access to the community garden was encouraged. The sites are spacious and easily accommodated our 42-foot MH. Their Wi-Fi was the best we have experienced in ten years of fulltime RVing. It was close enough to Spokane for easy access.

This park has new facilities and is in a beautiful setting. Sitting on the shore of Banks Lake there is a bike path connecting the different sections of the campground. The sites are large with good utilities but no Wi-Fi or cable. We had AT&T cell access.

Date of Stay:

The campground is only a block off the main street but considerably uphill from it. It is still walkable to the western-style downtown area. The owner of the campground is friendly and helpful. The grass sites are neatly kept with good utilities. It is a small, comfortable campground.

Yes, this park is all asphalt and concrete but it makes for a comfortable stay in a great location. The utilities are great and the view of the bridge and harbor are super. The adjoining bike path and south jetty park provide biking and hiking opportunities and the aquarium and marine science center are within easy walking distance. We had a fun week here.

Date of Stay:

We liked the location of this park with it's short hike to the beach. There is plenty of room to maneuver although the sites are only of modest size. The utilities are good. It has an antiseptic environment mostly on gravel so would not be good for those seeking a "camping" experience. But it is a good location for the Long Beach experience.

Date of Stay:

This is strictly an overnight stop. All the sites are back ins and they are close together. Utilities are OK, but there is nothing else here.

We had a very nice experience at this park. We have a 42' and had no issues with maneuvering. Our site was spacious and level with excellent utilities. The WiFi was descent. Very close to the harbor at Gig Harbor and not far from Tacoma (toll bridge though). Several good restaurants within walking distance. Definitely hope to return here again.

This is a spacious park that combines a nice setting with excellent amenities. We had a site that backed up to a small patio with a swing and a view of the ocean through the trees. We had strong 50-amp electric, good water pressure and sewer. Although we had a cable hookup we didn’t use it because our spot had easy satellite acquisition. The wifi was free and adequate. There is plenty of space for maneuvering big rigs. Trinidad is a nice little community and nearby Patrick’s Point State Park has some great views.

Date of Stay:

This is definitely not a destination park. It is a relatively tight parking lot although there is big rig maneuverability. There was a fair occurring at the time of our stay but the noise was only mildly annoying. Utilities were good with the exception of wifi which was weak.

Date of Stay:

This is a 10 as a campground but very average as an RV Park. The setting is spectacular among the redwoods. There is plenty of space to maneuver big rigs. But you will be short on amenities. It is almost impossible to get satellite TV and there is no cable. The 30-amp electricity often fell below 110 volts. The wifi was expensive and inconsistent. On the plus side full hookups are available. The park is not near restaurants or supermarkets but there is the Pacific Coast Highway to the south toward Fort Bragg and Redwood State Park to the north. The closes small town is Garberville which bears the title of “marijuana heartland of America.”

Date of Stay:

Lots of space with large pull-thru sites. Not a great view and the wind howled throughout the night of our overnight stay. But the utilities were good, the staff was friendly, and we could even buy pizza in the office. Although a few miles outside of town, this is probably the nicest park in Amarillo.

Date of Stay:

This is an excellent park for overnight or longer term stays. It has spacious level sites with good utilities including cable. Most sites are fine for satellite reception and the wifi is very good. If we are in Flagstaff in the future, we will definitely choose this park again.
