Deception Pass State Park, Oak Harbor, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Be cautious with a larger RV - our 5th wheel is 36'. This park is older - not a lot of room to maneuver or get out if you have a larger rig. The actual campsite might be large enough for you, but getting there or getting out might be a challenge - especially if you get there at night. We enjoyed biking on the paths to the water and hiking to the bridge. Also, the park is periodically noisy due to the close location of the Whidbey Island Naval Air Base. We camped at Deception Pass State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Alder Lake Park, Eatonville, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The campsites here are spaced out well. We camped with a group (3 other sites) and didn't feel cramped. The waterfront is nice with a large swimming area. It wasn't noisy even with heavy boat activity on the lake. We have also gone in the off-season and enjoyed the peace and quiet here. We camped at Alder Lake Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mossyrock Park, Mossyrock, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park due to the large campsites and large play field. There is also a store near the swimming area that has breakfasts during the summer. There are multiple playgrounds also. We camped at Mossyrock Park in a Fifth Wheel.
