This is a very clean and very friendly park. It is only a few hundred yards from the beach. The access to the Oregon coastline is wonderful. There is a tunnel under the 101 highway so you don't have to cross traffic. The sites are concrete. They are a bit narrow. The rigs of today are exceeding the campgrounds ability to adjust. There is room for big rigs and the slide outs but it leaves very little room in between. I could not get my awning out in my site because of an electric pole. I could not get my truck on my site so they gave me a nearby site to park it on. The Staff are all extremely helpful and would do most anything to make your stay with them the best possible. There is a continental breakfast each morning. News papers are delivered to your site each morning. WIFI is great anywhere in the park. I do not have an animal but the facilities for animals look to be very good.

This is a very small RV park. All sites are gravel. There is a small fishing lake off of the campground. TV reception was with my rabbit ears and it was pretty good. My dish antenna would not work in Alaska. In Alaska the dish must be 30 inches across at a minimum I was told. WIFI in the park depended on how close you were parked to the office. The restrooms and showers were satisfactory. The staff were ok but not what I would call friendly.

We stayed here for 3 1/2 months (December 2007 to March 2008). We stayed in a site in the North section. Each site consists of a concrete pad about 70 feet long and about 20 feet wide. There is a nice grass area between each pad. There is a fenced area used as a dog walk. It has a small lake and a nice walking track surrounding the lake. The restrooms/showers can be entered only with a key card provided to the residents of the north section. They are very clean and spacious. The walls are floor to ceiling marble. The shower are at least 5 feet square and are floor to ceiling glass. There is a beautiful heated swimming pool. There are tennis courts. During the winter there is something going on in the main clubhouse almost every day. There are trips you may take into Mexico that you can book here in the clubhouse. (Mexico is only 5 miles from the park.) There is a fully equipped weight room. There is poolrooms with I think about 8 tables. There are shuffleboard courts. There is also a card room a library and also a fully equipped wood shop. An 18-hole golf course is right next door also. It is almost 2 miles to the nearest highway so there is no road noise. All in all a very nice place to stay.

My stay here was for 1 month. The park owners live on site. They are very friendly and will do anything they can to help make your stay enjoyable. Some of the other residents have been coming here ever since the park opened 3 years ago. The 2007 monthly rate of $250 + electricity is very reasonable. Rockport, TX, about 5 miles away, has about everything one would need including a Wal-Mart. Padre Island is about 15 miles and a short ferry ride away from the park.

Easy access off of I-10. Streets and most sites are asphalt. Some of the streets are in need of repairs (pot holes). Lots of trees in the front half of the park. The restrooms are kept very clean and presentable. Most of the residents of the park work in the area. There were very few people in the park during the day. Some of the trailers in the park were old and in need of repairs. Some trailers looked like no one had lived in them in quite a while. The sign says this is a Resort. There is a meeting hall on site but it remains locked and vacant most of the time. I did not see anything that led me to think this was a resort.

I have been here twice. I stayed once for about 4 month and recently for about 5 nights. The campground is very neat. Most all of the sites are pull through sites and will handle large rigs. All sites are chip rock and are level and very clean. All roads in the park are asphalt. It is very convenient to I-65. A "Loves" truck stop is on the opposite side of the interstate from the park. There is a flea market just behind the park that is open every Saturday and Sunday. I would stay here anytime I am in the Louisville, KY area.
