Tiger Run RV Resort, Breckenridge, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is stuffy. The staff is not rude, but they aren't friendly either. They didn't even say hello when my wife went to look at things for sale. The campsite is nice, but doesn't have the natural feel you get at others. No fires are permitted and the dumpsters were a drive away. This is the only park in Summit County, so there's not much choice. We will probably stay somewhere else next time even though it means more driving. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Buena Vista KOA, Buena Vista, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $38.00

Very clean park with fantastic mountain views. A very friendly couple was running the park and delivered firewood to our site for a campfire. They have a really nice rec-room if you just want to relax outside of your trailer and watch some TV. We also liked that the site is far off the highway and was very quiet. We would gladly stay here again. We camped at Buena Vista KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was very nice and friendly, but we were a little disappointed with the quality of the campground. The spaces were very close together and muddy. It took some time to level out the trailer. The scenery is great, but the park needs a little maintenance. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gunnison KOA, Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campsite. It is quiet and well kept. The owner was tending the shop and was very kind. He let my 2 children fish in the trout pond for free since it was the end of season. The park is across from the airport, but we only heard one plane during the time we were there. The landscaping is beautiful with lots of flowers. One of the nicest parks we have seen. Will stay there again. We camped at Gunnison KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Great park and great service. The staff was so nice and accommodating. The haunted house was the best we have ever seen. Would recommend to anyone with children. We camped at Prospectors RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
