Riverside RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. RV's are pretty close together, especially the ones that back up to the river. There are some long term residents so there aren't many sites available by the river. I think we would try another park in the future. We camped at Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Moab Valley RV Resort , Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are not long enough, you cannot park your truck on your site. We also had a little trouble getting into the site, we noticed others had problems too. It says big rig friendly, NOT SO. We like more space!!! Also the Hwy is very loud, all day and early AM. Would stay at a different park next time. They do have nice restrooms and the laundry room has lots of washers and dryers, commercial size. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Trains, Trains, Trains. We stayed at the bottom half of this park, and all we could hear was the train. The tracks are located right above you. Morning, noon and night. The sites are long and spacious. There are plenty of permanent residents in very old, I mean old RV's with all of their stuff exposed. They have rules for the dogs but not for the cats apparently, they run around loose and yes, do their business where they please. We did enjoy the area sights greatly (Columbia River). Ah no, we would not stay here again. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park), Baker City, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Has a few full time residents. The site was large. We enjoyed staying here. Park is away from the freeway noise. Has plenty of trees and squirrels. Close to shopping. We loved visiting the back roads and learned a lot about the Oregon Trail. We also visited the Fruit Loop, it's kind of like visiting the Napa Valley, but only this is fruit orchards, really enjoyed that. We like lots of space and quiet, this was a great area to stay for us. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Forks 101 RV Park, Forks, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are nice. The sites are a bit strange. In the back portion of the park you face permanent trailers and all there stuff. We stayed in the front portion of the park and it was very bright at night from the stores across the street and yes it is right off the main street, very loud from truck and racing local car owners. Would not stay here again. Loved the local sights. We camped at Forks 101 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Falls 93 RV Park, Filer, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located in farm land area away from the Hwy. Nicely landscaped and clean facilities. We enjoyed the local attractions along the Snake River. Not a lot of activities in the park itself, but I was able to ride my bike on paved roads in the area. And they had fresh and free apples, yummmm they were good. We camped at Twin Falls 93 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

What a great place to spend Fourth of July. The site was long enough for our Fifth Wheel and our Long Bed Truck. Close enough to walk to town and enjoy a great meal at any of the restaurants. The beaches were beautiful. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful area, lots to do, biking, walking, boating, fishing. The sites are small, you are very close to your neighbors. Only a few sites are waterfront. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wow, really close sites, I mean really close. Right off the main Hwy too. The town has been in a big boom and there is a lot of cars and trucks making it very loud. Nice town, loved it. Hated the park We camped at Rainbows End RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
