Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Very quiet. Mostly permanent campsites but transient area is very nice. Good WiFi connection. Bathrooms OK but could use some updating. I had problems with water temp fluctuations several times during my shower. We camped at Rose Point Park Cabins and Camping in a Motorhome.

Great RV park. All sites face NE and shade the camper at the end of the day. Very friendly managers. Very good WiFi. Great place to spend a night or two. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tomorrow's Stars RV Resort, South Charleston, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The site that we had was very nice. Large pull throughs with a lot of space between campers and some nice trees. Bathrooms, showers, and trash were all too far away from campsites. Bath and shower room is on one end of the campground and not very convenient. Bath and showers appear to be very old and could use some paint and updating. Also, the number of people using them warrants multiple cleanings on the weekend. They were not as clean as they should have been when I took a shower in the early morning. There were some problems with our 30 amp electrical. Campground does not have WiFi and didn't seem to be interested in adding it. We camped at Tomorrow's Stars RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park, Effingham, Illinois

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground. Quiet and peaceful. The new owner/managers are really friendly and go out of their way to make your visit a great camping experience. If you are in this area, stop and stay a night or two. It is one of the best campgrounds we stayed at during our 5 week trip to the southwest. We camped at Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
