Obviously new. Very clean, sites were pretty big. Very well landscaped. Good service. Expensive. One small nitpick: the nightly rate should cover at least one or two showers in their (very clean) facilities. The standard in the area (I was told) is for showers to be coin operated - which seems a bit low-class for this type of establishment.

Nice location in a pine forest. Very isolated park, decent sized spaces. The folks at this park are very concerned about water usage, as it has to be trucked in from far away. No public showers, and the rules stipulate that water is to be used for consumption only - no car washing, no showers. They reserve the right to penalize you $20 for every violation of their water rules.

Wildly divergent ratings depending on what you're looking for. Clean park, decent location (close to town and local attractions), **very** clean restrooms and showers. Big screen TV in clubhouse for customer use - a nice touch. This campground, however, was the most family-unfriendly in my four-week-old road trip so far. On check in, I was asked how old each of my three children was - which isn't a problem in and of itself, but we were charged an additional $5 fee for our oldest, who is 3 years old. This is a first on this road trip or any other. We were told that the policy is that the base rate covers 2 people, and that each additional person who can walk costs an additional $5 per night, regardless of age. The park is small, the sites are small, and the service is decidedly unfriendly. The facilities, however, are more than adequate re: cleanliness and location.
