This park is a local beer bust campground. Very loud parties on the weekend. Sites are cramped. As soon as we found out about this one we left quickly. We camped at Pops Place in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this park several times and it is well maintained. The owner is most positive and helpful to his guests. There are some park models. Conveniently located near I-75 and Sun City and lots of shopping. We camped at Sun Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Caribbean Cowboy RV Resort, Tarpley, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Sites shown on Web Site do not show just how small they are. Sites are cramped and roads are very narrow, very difficult to get in and out. Some of the amenities shown on Web Site are not at park nor anywhere close. Electrical is faulty on some sites and not close to 30 amps. We were there 3 months and will not return. We camped at Caribbean Cowboy RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The managers clique sits in the Game room every morning and evening. In the evenings there is lots of drinking and card playing. No Shade, far from anything. I will stay at Wilderness or Styxx next time. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cutty's Des Moines Camping Club, Inc, Grimes, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

For the time we were there the manager and wife spent most of their time trying to hook us up some sort medicine plan that would fix us for life. For a minimum of 12 hundred dollars we could start the program. My wife is a disabled vet and takes several prescriptions and they promised that within 6 months she could drop at least half of them. The park was nasty and I picked up over 3 bags of litter in my area alone during the time we were there. We camped at Cutty's Des Moines Camping Club, Inc in a Fifth Wheel.

Purtis Creek State Park, Eustace, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Great Park to hang out in and enjoy nature. There were 2 eagles in the park for the winter. Great fishing and trophy bass. Most helpful park hosts. Unfortunately no water due to freeze, but not a detraction. We camped at Purtis Creek State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
