I'll admit that I have never stayed at a state run campground but I had no complaint about this one. It was very clean and quiet. Other reviews were correct that larger rigs should not go off the main loop but to be fair the lower spaces were made for tents and smaller units and larger units have no reason to go there. When calling for a reservation ask for the campground mgr. because the phone goes to the resort and they don't have a full grasp on the problems of camping. Very nice stay and very short walk to the lake from the main loop. Need power cord extensions on some sites.

Although the rain kept us from discovering anything this K.O.A had to offer, I did notice that the rain pooled on many of the roads and sites. This campground is 7-9 miles from any kind of restaurants or activities. It is a conveniently straight drive up 140 to South Haven though. I would stay here again if visiting South Haven

You can't ask anything more from an overnight stay campground. Quiet clean, mostly level sites, all pull thru, after hours honor system, and always an available spot. Extremely easy on and off of I-65

The park is immaculate and the staff and other campers are extremely friendly. Their top priority is upkeep of the property. However, the downside for us (and maybe you can take this as a warning), the bars have activities and live bands planned every night of the week that have very high levels of bass that thump all night. Sat and Sun till 4am and weekdays till 1am. I had to buy earplugs to fall asleep. If this does not bother you please disregard and enjoy a very nice campground.

OMG. I hope there is more than Jack Daniels drawing people to this KOA. The sites are less than level and are a $20.00 site at best. I spent the same money at motor resorts with much more to offer. Highway noise is also a factor at this stop.

A well maintained campground easy access from I75 and offers flat, no shade sites as well as sites between the trees for the camping feel some prefer. Friendly no hassle environment.

NOTHING is in disrepair or broken here. A wonderful tropical feeling that reminded me of Maui. Anything you could want was close by. The only downside of this beautiful resort was the daily noise of the people keeping it beautiful (leaf blowers and chain saw noises from 8 am on). Could have been due to time of year with all the leaves falling. Will come back.

Great campground for all your lake and in town activities. Level sites and great pool. Campground pitches hard toward the lake making a walk difficult but they offset it by renting golf carts. Like previous reviews a 10 would have been in order if there was some shade trees.

Very wooded sites. Tight maneuvering with 40 foot and toad but doable. Pretty level sites but hilly interior roads.

No great attraction. The I65 noise is to the point of being unbearable. No shade, open level sites. The office help was punctual, not quite mean but not friendly either. You pay for everything at this campground.

VERY tight turns for big rig to get to the back where the 50 amp sites were (lowest point of the park). Both train and interstate noise made for a restless night of sleeping. Nothing exceptional except proximity to six flags.

Very helpful and friendly owner. Great park literally in the middle of nowhere. Very accessible and quiet,if fishing and watching eagles soar on the mountainside is your thing, this park is for you.

Have your brakes checked before attemting this one. Winding mountain roads, and unlevel site for us from front to rear,(front tires off the ground). Literally a cross country hike to get to the pool and lots of trees.

This one you can't beat for family fun and ocean access. Just over the dune and they supply the stairs so you don't trudge thru the sand trying to peak the dune. Everything you could want except for shade, but with the true beach life you cant have everything. A solid ten.

Very expensive for an improved parking lot with power and water and a shower,,literally nothing else. However very clean and secure considering the other camps closer to the falls.
