Lake Oconee / Lawrence Shoals Campground, Eatonton, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Our site at first glance looked level but once we unhooked we realized it sloped away from the street and our 5th would not level front to back. We camped at Lake Oconee / Lawrence Shoals Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

My first gotcha was the the wi-fi did not work on the first street from the office. The second was the cable signal had so much static on the lower channels that they were almost unwatchable. They need to cut down some trees at the entrance to the campsites as they a bitch to get around. The sites need to be lengthened as some motor homes when parked had there noses at the edge of the street. Plus their toad parked on the edge of the street created a hazard to some one trying to get in across from them. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Laura S. Walker State Park, Waycross, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

My only complaint with this park was the lack of any net work TV signal. A basic cable connection would make this park a 10 or better. We stayed there 2 nights on our way from NC back to FL. The park was very well maintained, and there was a lot of space between the sites. All the utilities were good. I did not see how close one of those Georgia Pines was to the edge of the site until I had unhooked and realized I could not put my awning out. We camped at Laura S. Walker State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Azalea Acres RV Park, Robertsdale, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed there for 8 days and it was a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed our trips into Foley and Robertsdale. Especially to the train museum and to a Buffet in the old Armory. I think it was called Harvest house. Near by at the I-10 exit there is a train themed restaurant Derailed Diner which has good food. The sites were spaced far enough to give quiet a bit of privacy. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
