Spruce Row Campsite & RV Resort, Ithaca, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Our second time here. We really like this park. Large sites with fire ring. The park is huge and surrounded by corn fields. Large swimming pool and hay rides for the kids. The kind of place I wish I could have spent the summer when I was a kid. Lake Cayuga is 10 minutes away with large boat ramps. You really feel like your camping here, surely not a corporate park as it's family owned. The place gets busy on the weekends so booking a site is a good idea. The owners quietly keep an eye on things and rowdys aren't tolerated. We hope we can come back again someday. We camped at Spruce Row Campsite & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Trumansburg is 10 minutes away with a large grocery store. Ithaca is about 15 minutes away. Waterfalls nearby and state parks. Lots of folks go to the many vineyards in the area.

Eagle Tree RV Park, Poulsbo, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I love this little park. The owners are very friendly & and they treat you like family. Nice neighbors. Convenient locale for ferry & Poulsbo. Nestled in a forest of giant trees. Would give higher rating except sites were extremely small. We camped at Eagle Tree RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Paradise Island RV Resort, Oakland Park, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Paradise Island? I wondered why they would give a place like this a name like that. Then I realized it was an island--in the middle of the hood. Held my breath trying to maneuver the tiny street to get to our site. After 15 minutes of maneuvering in an alley had to ask a neighbor to move his car which was out in the tiny street. He said he might if I got my damn truck out of the way. Turns out his name was Charlie & he lived & worked there picking up trash. Backed up rig to abandoned rat infested paint factory. Needless to say left as quickly as we could to never return again!! We camped at Paradise Island RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

JGW RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is what all RV parks should strive to be. The sites are all concrete & level. Each site is landscaped & maintained. Some sites looked like they had 5000 square feet. Beautiful views of the river. The owners are a nice family that take great pride in the facility & it relly shows. They never stop working. Would definitely recommend. Will return. We camped at JGW RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
