Grand Sierra Resort RV Park, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a great find. The sites were very large (big enough to park a truck next to an RV) and it was a short walk to the Grand Sierra Resort Hotel and Casino. Amenities include a driving range into a small lake, 3 different go-kart tracks, miniature golf, movie theater, a mini-mall and numerous nice restaurants. The park also runs along side the Truckee river with a paved walkway along the river. This campground also has a fenced in dog run that is split into two sides allowing more than one family to enter the run at once. We will DEFINITELY be back. We camped at Grand Sierra Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park, Carson City, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was convenient as it was close to the freeway and also a retail area. The Gold Dust West casino is just a short walk away. The sites were small and required some maneuverability for bigger rigs. The park is "pet friendly" but we were asked to keep the dogs off the grass and use only the "dog run" in the back. The "dog run" is a big parking lot adjacent to the casino that is not entirely fenced in so we were not able to let our dogs off-leash. We camped at Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park in a Motorhome.
