Comanche Land RV Park (closed), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Good campground to stay in while passing thru. Not much else is available and this one is close to restaurants and freeway. The price is right also!! We camped at Comanche Land RV Park (closed) in a Motorhome.

We have been here several times, but this time we had a problem. We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and had our mail sent here. When we arrived at our set time we were told that we did not have a reservation and our reservation that we made had been cancelled. We were able to get a site but not an extra long one and our mail was sent back to our mailing address. We never cancelled but whoever took our reservation must have put down the wrong dates. Otherwise this park is very clean and has a great staff. We will think about our next visit. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

As my husband was away on business right after we checked in, I was nervous about being alone. I mentioned that he was gone to the staff and I didn't have to worry as the staff checked up on me every day. The campsite we had, #37 was large enough for both our motorhome and car hauler. The campsite was quiet and clean. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help. The ice cream socials are a great way for you to meet your fellow campers. We will go out of our way to stay at this campground again next year, and will recommend them to all. Great place! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
