We have stayed here several times and I am less impressed each time. Lots of seasonals, which is OK, but many of them are looking pretty junky for a park like this. Wi-Fi is horrible and many of the sites are not level. Good location but this may be our last stay here.

Date of Stay:

Nice park very close to I-10 with easy in and out. Level concrete pads that are adequate size. Very clean and owners are very friendly and helpful. Only concerns were that the Wi-Fi is weak and not a great park for walking the dogs. We would stop here again.

This is basically a self service park. You fill out a registration, call a number. Someone comes over takes your money (no credit cards) and points you to your site. Then they leave and you don't see anyone else around. No instructions about trash or cable stations or washers and dryers. You are on your own. Park is close to Savannah and sites are easy to get in and out but the experience would be much better if the owners would be more involved.

This is a nice stopover CG if you don't have a big rig but it is certainly not built for longer RV's. The sites are extremely narrow and for big rigs they are impossible to pull into or out of with a tow attached without running over the grass. Additionally the interior roads are very tight and when you are leaving the CG with a big rig it is best to turn into the entrance road or you risk jumping a curb with your tow. The other bad feature especially if you are just overnighting is that connecting to their wifi is extremely difficult. I have never seen this before but to connect a laptop and an iphone require two entirely different operations and both are complicated. Just way to much to deal with for an overnight stop. Again, if you don't have a big rig and are a computer geek then this is a nice place to stop but not a good spot for larger RV's.

Beautiful resort with nice pull in or back in sites. The sites are all very level concrete pads and many of them have pavers and sitting areas. Very friendly, helpful staff. This resort certainly could be a 10 but the reason for my 8 is that they do not currently have a clubhouse although it is under construction, the golf course needs some work, there is a lot of construction noise during the day and even up to 7:30 at night and the Wifi is horrible. Also the roads coming in are certainly a challenge but it is worth it once you arrive.

Beautiful park with long wide sites that are well spaced. Forget your satellite, there's too many trees, but they have basic cable. You should try to arrive early as they don't reserve specific sites so the earlier you get there the better the selection. Also some of the interior roads have some tight spots around trees so if you have a big rig use caution. Easy access to Savannah. Will definitely return.

Very nice campground. The sites are all back in with long very level concrete pads. They are very wide and there is plenty of room on both sides. The cable is pretty basic with only 12 channels but the WiFi is very good. The CG is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Cedar Key. The interior roads are pretty tight for a big rig with a tow. That isn't a problem on entry but on exit there is no place to hook up other that at your site. It's not a big issue but you have to be careful. The owners are very nice and they are currently adding more sites and amenities so this CG is only going to get better. Not much to do in Cedar Key but if we return we would stay here.

This place has seen its better days. Compared to the other campgrounds in the area it is pretty run down. The pull through sites are really close together but are level. The interior roads need a lot of work and, if it rains, they turn into mud. When this campground is empty then there are plenty of places to walk your dogs but, when it is full, the spots would be very limited. We won't return here.

Anyone that rates this campground at 8 or higher really needs to get out more. The sites are dirt and gravel and many have deep ruts which will make leveling difficult. The interior roads are also dirt and gravel and badly in need of repair. When it rains, which is quite often, the entire CG turns to mud. There is no swimming pool, the wifi is slow, there is one trash receptacle in the park and they empty it every couple of days at 3:30 AM so don't park close to it. On the plus side, the sites are good-sized and the park has a very convenient location to go to the outlets or downtown.

This is the third time we have stayed here over the past five years and they just keep improving things. We stayed in a premium site and it had a nice patio, a fireplace, a table with umbrella and a firepit. The sites are all good length and looked to be very level. They have a nice pool and lots of things to do, and the staff is friendly and helpful. About the only negative is that their interior roads could use some work but overall this is a very nice place to stay.

The sites in this park are good. Fairly long and level but somewhat close together. The biggest problem that we had was with low voltage at the park. We have three A/C's and have never had a problem running all of them until we stayed here. One of them kept shutting down and when I complained to the office, their reply was that you can't run three air conditioners on 50 amp service. Well that may be the case with their 50 amp service but every other park we stay at supports three A/C's. We were just staying overnight so it wasn't a big deal but if you have a big rig and are going to spend some time here in the summer you need to be aware of this problem.

This is a very nice CG but the reason I rated it a 7 is because the roads are dirt and there is a lot of dust and the Wifi is spotty at best. The sites themselves, especially the premium sites, are very nice. Level concrete pads with small patios or for the premium sites huge patios with a table, chairs and umbrella, a fire pit and a gas grill. Also the park has lots of trees and the shade is nice. We will definitely return.

The location of this campground is good for visiting the DC area but you are still 45 minutes from most attractions. The sites are fairly close together and of average length. They have a lot of different facilities including pools, hot tub, sauna, cafe, playground and also good areas for pets. They also have several bath houses throughout the park. Above average CG, good location, nice facilities but a bit worn down.

This CG is in a beautiful area but the only way it should get a high rating is if you are comparing it to a Walmart parking lot. The sites are crammed together and the interior roads are very narrow. The sites are gravel and I don't think there is a level site in the CG so bring your blocks. The cellphone reception is horrible and their wifi is slow. Also, there is not any good places to walk your dogs. On the positive side, it is very peaceful here, the staff is very friendly and it is 15 minutes from Monticello. Nice CG but pretty rustic.

Overall this is a nice CG but, if you have a big rig, be aware that the sites are tight and have a lot of slope. The CG itself is nice: good facilities, lots of shade and very quiet. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. We would stay here again but would be a little more selective about our site.
