Murfreesboro RV Park, Murfreesboro, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

WOW what happened to this park ! I tried to make a reservation (as I have stayed here before and loved the place) but when trying to make my reservation I was speaking with a NEW manager (if you dare call her that) I was truly shocked to see the past manager had left and was shocked how the new manager spoke to me, Very nu-professional, and it was like I was taking her away from something more important. SHAME ON YOU. I will not return! We camped at Murfreesboro RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was my second stay and again I have to give this park A+++ Great value! This is a very well run park, clean and very inviting, very close to the Crater of Diamond, and downtown shopping. They have just opened their Shower House and On-Site Laundry which is a very nice addition. The owners are very nice people, and they have a On-Site Manager who is very helpful and pleasant, he goes above and beyond to make your stay a enjoyable one! I feel they have set the standard by which all parks should follow. I will return! We camped at Murfreesboro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clewiston/Lake Okeechobee RV Park (formerly Clewiston / Lake Okeechobe, Clewiston, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

For a KOA park its a nice park, easy access, have stayed here a few time but Never again! at least til there's a management change. I was greeted at check-in by a lady and I use the word Lady loosely what a crabby, very unfriendly, rude woman she is, and she is the manager! So my comment or question is, KOA must be getting desperate for having such a nasty woman behind the front desk dealing with the public. We camped at Clewiston/Lake Okeechobee RV Park (formerly Clewiston / Lake Okeechobe in a Motorhome.

Mission Trails RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

What a dump this place is. Very RUN DOWN, Dogs on the loose everywhere and If I stepped in one pile I stepped in 20. Services on the wrong side, cars on site being used as storage units for the long term people, junk piled up everywhere, no rules here at all. Do yourself a favor and drive right on by this one.. We camped at Mission Trails RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Mustang Hollow Campground (formerly Lake Corpus Christi Mathis KOA), Mathis, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I'm not sure who should be more ashamed of this campground the owners or Corporate KOA. Where do I start?: horrible roads, very outdated electric hookups; in fact the first site I was given had services on the wrong side; at the second site when I opened the electric box to plug my motorhome in I discovered no outlet at all, just open exposed live wires. How could this happen and how do they get a presidents award for '08? These are the questions I want to know answers for. Bathrooms, office, and game room were quite disgusting, including roaches. I cut my stay very short. This campground in one to just pass on your travels. We camped at Mustang Hollow Campground (formerly Lake Corpus Christi Mathis KOA) in a Motorhome.

I was to stay at least a month, but had enough after 1 night, place was a joke. I personalty wouldn't have trusted the employees as far as I could throw them. I noticed drug activity and also a bar located on the campground where locals visit, Police were there twice during my stay serving papers to other residents and one was arrested. I had big rig and had to get on top to clear the power lines and trees. Was told there would be 50 amp but only 30 was there and water lines leaked badly needs lots of work. We camped at Big Oaks River Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, worth every dime. The only drawback is the traffic noise on GA-75. We camped at Forsyth KOA in a Motorhome.
