We stayed during Mother's Day weekend at site 317 on Eden. The site was nice, but not as nice as the super sites. We would request the site again. We absolutely loved the rain shower at the bath house closest to Eden (didn't want to get out). Very nice, clean bath house (definitely updated). A nice DJ party on Saturday night, it was fun. Two pools were open but they were cold.

Steadily improving with a new jump pillow and additional pull through sites. Wish the pool was open, but we were 2 weeks too early. Can't wait to go back in June. The staff/seasonal people are so nice and my husband loves partying with them. Great place for our kids; they enjoy it.

We enjoy this campground which is now a Yogi Bear. This is our 3rd trip here. Our kids absolutely love it and the seasonal people are lots of fun. Great activities for the adults and kids. We always look forward to coming back. The campground is still in the works but it will be a great place once they are done. The Wi-Fi is very very slow but that is expected considering where they are located and the trees. Can't wait to come back.

We were here for one of the Wet n Wild weekends, it was fun getting the people wet on the train ride. We enjoy coming to this campground, it's very nice. The only thing I ask for is a toddler slide in the water spray area or let the little ones go down the slide with the parents. We always look forward to coming back.

It is not the best place for kids, not a whole lot to do. 2 pools but they are public use. Campers don't pay. I wish they had a kiddie pool or children's water spray area and more swings. If you have a boat + camper this is the place to be. This campground is owned by James City County. Not a bad place, just needs more activities.

I would have rated this park higher if we didn't come across problems and a not so great site. When booking, make sure you ask to be in the Colonial section and near the pool, jumping pillow area. Much nicer area. The front of the park is not so great: sites aren't very level and were very small (no room). If we decide to return: we would prefer a premium site with a concrete pad. However, for the price I would rather go to Bethpage & Grey's Point. We did enjoy our time. The pool was not heated when we tried to use it: burrrrrr. The people at the front desk are not very nice and I noticed they were constantly moving people around. Not very good hospitality. If you book a site, make sure you ask for a specific site.

The campground is now franchising with YOGI BEAR! This campground will be nice with all the new amenities, construction going on now but will be ready for summer fun this year. The roads are a bit tight, they could knock down some trees (too much shade, I think). They will offer spray area, 2 slides, kiddie pool, and concession stand. They will also offer outdoor movie nights and planned activities for in season only. Not much to do in the off season. Will be a wonderful campground to go to this summer with all the new activities if you have kids. All and all nice campground.

We were here for the Holiday Lights in the Park weekend. It was nice! The kids loved the inflatables for the Santa carnival. The only way we would stay at this campground is if the super sites are available, they are much nicer than the standard sites. We were here for Halloween one year and the kids enjoyed the trick-or-treating events too. We haven't made it back for the summer months but in due time I suppose. Nice park!

We stayed here last Halloween (2008) but forgot to post a review. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved all the trick or treating events. The haunted forest was excellent, however, my 8 year old girl was ready to get out of there (can be scary for the younger ones). Very nice park, we haven't tried it yet in the summer, but I am sure it is lovely. We also enjoy staying at there sister campground (Grey's Point). We highly recommend these campgrounds.

Park was very nice. The kids loved the splash pool and water slides. Nice Marina; we enjoyed our Jet Ski on the Rappahannock River. Golf carts galore, but that is expected when you have Seasonals. Our new favorite semi-local spot. We will return again. Oh by the way, trash was picked up 5 times a day or more, that was nice.

The staff was the most friendly we've encountered. Very helpful and observant. The park was very clean and well kept considering the traffic in this campground. Everyone was very polite, staff and other campers. Our kids had a great time and kept us too busy to call it a vacation. The flys/mosquitos were annoying but that is to no fault of the campground. Bugs are part of the experience.

A new favorite place to visit. We had a great time at this location. The owners were friendly and helpful. The grounds were very clean and kept. We stayed on Labor Day weekend and it was full, but very comfortable. Many children for ours to play with. The pool was very clean and cold. The country store stock was low. We are already planning our next trip there, and we just returned yesterday.

Brand new campground. Great little getaway. Within seconds of local grocery-hardware store. Cable hook-ups are in the power posts, though it appears that cable service is yet to be installed. Campground has +/- 25 sites folks who wish to set up as seasonal-year round rates. 15 +/- lake front sites for weekenders. Very peaceful place. New bath house, nice walking bridges, and a calm lake. Excellent sunsets and rises. Bad mosquitoes in the dusk-evening time of day, due to lake. It's nature, so deal with it. Very large sites with ample room. Mostly all back in, but with ample room that is provided it was gravy. No golf carts to bother you either. Near all the beach attractions, yet removed from all the hustle and bustle. We are returning in several weeks and this will be our summer get-away for years to come. Excellent place. Office located off site, so use the web-site.

Great place to go. We had a good time and will return again. Our site was fair. Poorly graded, and we flooded our "stoop" the first night. Stayed wet all week. We paid for a super site, but the big boys with the big motor coaches obviously got the pick of the spots. Ours was to be desired. Wi-Fi was super slow. Other than that, great time, great people. As clean as one could expect and very comfortable. We will return often.

The park was clean and quiet. It's our second visit, and again the people were most friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy sneaking off to this campground. Looking forward to the summer time activities and festivals.
