Spring Lake RV Resort, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely, clean, well groomed RV park. The site lay out are so you are not right on top of your neighbor. Our site (#8) had a parking pad of small stone with concrete runners and a concrete patio as well as a grassy area. And even though it was raining there was NO mud! There were also some tall shade trees. There was plenty of room to park our oversizes tow truck right on the site, and it wasn't even under our awning or obstructing our patio view. The park is being expanded to include premium sites around the pond. The check-in folks were happy to provide dining info, even a phone book and map to locate area attractions. The restrooms and showers were immaculate and even smelled clean. There are fire rings available, and are placed so they don't bother your neighbor with smoke or your awning with sparks. We would surely return to this park. We camped at Spring Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA), Wade, North Carolina

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This park is wonderful. We had an escort to our site who was very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. These folks know how to RV. There is a wonderful pet run area complete with bags to clean up. The restroom/showers were spotless. The site was level. The wifi was good and strong and included in the rate. We will definitely return. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

North Fork Resort, Front Royal, Virginia

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park was very disappointing. Our site, C15 was a very tight fit. Trees were an issue as well as neighboring campers. There was no way you could even put an awning out. The majority of the people there were permanent. Looks like a trailer park- not an RV park. We should have taken these reviews more seriously. We will not stay here again We camped at North Fork Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone, Verona, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly a very clean park. The geese really need to go away. We often have to pick up many droppings. The casino shuttle runs 24/7, which is very handy-even if you don't feel like cooking, you can go to one of the many restaurants in the casino. We do hear the train, but we are used to it now. We camp here every month April-September. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Fifth Wheel.
