Hy-Land Court RV Park, Ellison Bay, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park well located in Door County. The sites are gravel and grass; the park well kept and the staff very friendly. As a bonus if you have a dog there is a large field where they can run. I would go back here. We camped at Hy-Land Court RV Park in a Motorhome.

Monument Point Camping, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a park that has mostly seasonal campers. There is no water at the site and they had a very long garden hose (not white rv hose) at the back of the admin building to fill your tank. I was quite firmly told not to run my air conditioner if I was not in my camper. The site I was given was quite small and the picnic table had moss growing all over it. The oak trees bombarded me with falling acorns the entire stay. I would not go back here again. We camped at Monument Point Camping in a Motorhome.

Douthat State Park, Clifton Forge, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park with excellent facilities. The toilets and shower house were very clean. The personnel in the park were very friendly. This has been a dry year, but normally fly fishing available nearby, a lake to kayak, and lots of hiking trails. Located just north of I64, it's a great stop in VA. We camped at Douthat State Park in a Travel Trailer.

OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park, Berea, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Although this is an old park, they are working to update. The bathrooms and showers weren't bad, and the whole feel of the place was certainly better the the place across the road. We camped at OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I drove through here and the whole place looked old and rundown, and appeared to have a lot of permanent residents. Did not stay. We camped at OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Jessie Lea RV Park, Big Stone Gap, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is an exceptionally clean park. The bathrooms and showers rate a 10. There is some highway noise as it is very close to the road. A bit of train noise at night, but rather nice to hear the whistle bounce around the mountain! A good stopping off point for exploring southern VA and northern TN. I stayed here four nights. We camped at Jessie Lea RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
