Trailer Lane RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Wife called up to make a reservation. Owners wife answered phone with a "Hello?".

My wife had to ask if this was the rv park. Answer was a short "Yes".

Went ahead and made a reservation for a couple of nights anyways.

Got there, paid, and THEN the Weed fire started!

Was told no refunds, power was shut off and so was water.

We left with no refund.

Didn't like their attitude and won't stop there again. We camped at Trailer Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Amargosa RV Park, Amargosa Valley, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park to use as a base for Death Valley. Can't beat the price and the hookups are well placed except for the sewer. It is towards the front. Store across the street that has a lot of Area 51 stuff. Also a brothel. Will stay here again when passing through. We camped at Fort Amargosa RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park to stay for a few days if needed. Good rate with free Wi-Fi also. You can choose from sitting on a gravel site or drive up on a cement pad. We chose gravel as it faced south in the evening and didn't have the sun in our windshield. Office person very friendly and thanked us for our business. Would stop here again on our way south for sure. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Susanville RV Park, Susanville, California

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Nice park. Has a LOT of cracked cement on the various sites, but could level OK. Good power and free Wi-Fi, which worked OK until too many people got on it in the evening. As has been stated before, the sewer connection is higher than the ground so have to lift up the hose to get it to drain. Small thing, though, and will stay here again when passing through. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rovers RV Park (formerly Chinook RV Park), Waldport, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Was just going to stay for one month, but extended our stay for a second month. Park is old but fairly well kept. Owners very friendly and spaces are adequate for our 40 foot bus. Sites are level with gravel base. WiFi is OK most of the time. If the park is full sometimes it drops out and we use or Verizon as backup. Speed is good, tho. We have indoor cats so didn't use the dog run down by the water. Good views of river down there. Will stay here again next year when passing thru. We camped at Rovers RV Park (formerly Chinook RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Nightly rate is based on our $250 monthly rate. Will be staying here for two months this trip. Manager always is friendly to us. Spots are clean, though wish they were wider. No complaints on this park. Will stay here again next year. We camped at Hillview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country Corners RV Park and Campground , Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Staying here overnight while heading north for the summer. Park is very well maintained with a nice grass strip between each side. Sites not the widest, but ample for our needs. Small store with not a lot of rv stuff in it. Would stay here again when passing thru. We camped at Country Corners RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Angel Lake RV Park, Wells, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here overnight on our way north. Manager was very friendly and led us to our site. Sites not very wide and if we had had slides, they would have hit some small trees. They will probably prune them when the season starts, tho. Good overnight spot when passing thru the area. We camped at Angel Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Young's RV Park, Caliente, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate includes tax. Came this way from Vegas because we hadn't been this way to head on to Washington. What a nice park! Sites are gravel and level with 50/30 amp power. Water pressure is very good and the WiFi is great! Very fast! As previously stated, owners live on site and are very friendly. Good view of the surrounding hills. We stayed in space 39 as it was free of trees and great for our satellite. Would definitely stay here again when passing thru. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Main Street Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed here for several years when passing thru Vegas. You are right by the freeway's but in our bus we don't notice the noise much at night. Security patrols thru here on bicycles and are pretty frequent. The Casino is a short walk and OK during the day. Don't know if I would walk to it at night. Sites are close together and if our bus had slideouts, we would be touching the slideouts next door. OK spot for the short term to see Vegas. Will stay here again when passing thru. We camped at Main Street Casino in a Motorhome.

Quail Run RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second year staying at this park for the winter season. It is the best park in Quartzsite and (I think) the biggest. A large majority of the rigs here are return people year after year. We think that management is the prime reason that people return. They are friendly and if we had any problems (with our slide), they find someone to help us get it fixed. Bathrooms are some of the cleanest we have seen on our travels. They put in WiFi this past summer that covers the whole park and we found it to be fast enough for us. We have made reservations again for next year and are happy to do so. We camped at Quail Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quail Run RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Staying here for a couple of nights. Was here last year and it is improved as they have added very strong Wi-Fi thru out the park. You get an hour free each 24 hrs then you have to pay. I got to save my Verizon for other parks that don't have as strong as this Wi-Fi. Managers are very friendly. Very clean park and will be back for sure. We camped at Quail Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park, Morristown, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

As previously noted, sites don't have sewer, at least in our site #25. Sites aren't mowed as not enough help, but that's OK. Our site doesn't have a view of the lake, but that's OK as we are only staying for a couple of days. Our site doesn't have a cover for the table but it is 125 feet long. Pretty far out from Phoenix, but if you have a boat, it is a good deal. Probably won't stay here again because to far out for us. We camped at Lake Pleasant Regional Park in a Motorhome.

Krazy K RV Park, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Staying here a week to see the area. Park is full and we got the last pull thru site. Noise is very load as is right next to Hwy 40. Owners very nice and space is adequate for a week. Good Wi-Fi and 4 bars for Verizon, if needed. Good electricity also. Yours GPS will have to lead you here. Think you are going down a dead end road to get here, but it will lead you here ok. We camped at Krazy K RV Park in a Motorhome.
