Lucky Eagle Casino RV Park, Rochester, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We would have given it a 10 if it had sewer on site. There was a dump and cleaning water upon leaving if you wanted to use it. Sites were all cement and clean. Good 50 amp power. Price is for a 40 foot site. If you have a smaller rig, the price is $20 per night. A nice quiet place to spend a couple of days. A shuttle will come and pick you up from your site if you want. Would stay here in the area if passing through on Hwy 5. This park is about 8 miles off Hwy 5. We camped at Lucky Eagle Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Charbonneau Park COE, Burbank, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in site 5 for two days. This site only had electric (50amp). If it had full hookups, I would have given it a 10. Some sites do have full hookups but the waiting list is long. Beautiful grounds that seemed to be mowed every day by a COE person. Some of the sites have a view of the river but our site didn't. Nice place to stay but they close the latter part of September. Would definitely stay here again. The $11 per night is for Golden Passport rate. We camped at Charbonneau Park COE in a Motorhome.

Hillview RV Park, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Staying here for a month so figure the $10 per night rate. We are paying $235 plus electric for the month. Park is full with most long term with fairly nice rigs. We got the last monthly space because someone just left. We have a gravel back in site that is about 60 feet long. Width is only about 16 feet but OK for the length of time we will be here. Streets are paved and very clean. Close to downtown and on main street but very quiet. Would stay here again when back in the area. We camped at Hillview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with lots of trees. Office staff very friendly. The sites have nice grass in between sites. Problem is many many trees that make getting our Direct TV signal no existent. Used their cable with so so picture. Our site didn't have sewer and we were charged the same as sites with sewer. Also no dump station on the grounds, so come empty. Management says, "Same price, sewer or no sewer". Park is full because of a fair going on. We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sunrise Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Staying here for one night. It is right off Hwy 90 so you will get traffic noise. Sites are all gravel and because of heavy coaches in some sites, they need to be raked between customers. Deep ruts in some sites. Management very friendly and grounds are in fairly good shape. Very dog friendly as they are all over the place. OK overnight spot and would stay here again if passing through. We camped at Sunrise Campground in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground as noted by the previous posters. We are here in site A11 up the hill, and the views of the surrounding hills are great! Have to go 1/2 mile up a gravel road to the park. Don't wash the car before hand. Office personnel are very nice. Good Sam discount also. Good base camp to see the Custer stuff. Would stay here again if passing through the area. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Park & Campground, Sundance, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice views surrounding hills. Sites easy to get into. If towing a car you will have to disconnect. Spaces not long enough. Mobiles behind had kids running through the sites. Easy on/off Hwy 90. Price is high for what you get, but this is Sturgis week. Didn't use Wi-Fi as Verizon works great here. Nice people in office. Would stay here again when passing through. We camped at Mountain View RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Holy Smoke Resort, Keystone, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Staying here for 4 days to see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We are in site 13. Not level. In fact quite a few are not level. Broke one of my jacks trying to get level. Office is up the road and if you have a big rig, park on the highway as getting into the office area would be very hard! Campground down the road. No showers, no pool either. This coming week is Sturgis motorcycle rally and bikes are everywhere. Some nice people around us in Newell's. No tents allowed. Wouldn't come back here again. We camped at Holy Smoke Resort in a Motorhome.

Holiday RV Park, North Platte, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Good stop overnight for hwy 80 or hwy 83. Full hookups, pool, etc. We are in site 57 which gets satellite reception. Ask for satellite reception sites if you need it. Most sites are in the trees. This helps when the temps are in the high 90's. Applebee's just down the street also. Would stop here again if passing through. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for an overnight. Attached to a motel that owner has remodeled. Grass not cut on the RV sites and you have to look for the sewer. Good 50 amp service and water. Several trailers here in fair shape but good people. Would stay here again if passing through. We camped at Kansas Kountry Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big park, small campground. Sites gravel with some overhang in the back for our 40 ft motorhome. We had 50 amp electric and water no sewer. That was fine as we only stayed one night. Good overnight stop on hwy 70 going east and west. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Lake Shawnee Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Lambert's Cafe RV Park (formerly Stage Stop RV Park), Ozark, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

No showers or restrooms. Very clean gravel sites with 50 amp hookups. We were in site 24 but our EMS said bad ground so moved to site 23. $100 week rental if you want to stay here or $20 pr night. Good location (approx 20 miles)from Branson and 18 miles from Springfield. Next door to a WalMart also. Don't need reservations, just drop on in. We will be here for 5 nights. When passing thru this area again would stop here, no problem. Oh, forgot to mention, next door to Lambert's (Home of the throwed rolls). Good food, the roll throwing is from about 6 feet away, no big deal. We camped at Lambert's Cafe RV Park (formerly Stage Stop RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Town & Country Camping & RV Park, Sikeston, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Pulled into here after passing up Hinton RV Park up the road. Read my review of Hinton. This Town and Country is one of the worst we have stayed at in our 5 years of full timing. Site was small (#20) to get our 36 ft MH plus toad into. Hooked up to electric and plugged in my electric monitor system and voltage on one leg was 106 volts and 114 on the other. Lady next door said "Make sure you lock that up". Looked around and saw a lot of south of the Texas border people staying there. Turned on two A/C air packs and my EMS shut off with a 96 volt showing. This was a Passport place and I went to the office and got our $20 check back. Went down the street to Hinton RV Park. Should have stayed there first. We camped at Town & Country Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not bad for an overnight or two stay. Nice level spot near the office. They have a cart that they use to take you to your spot. Great voltage and water. Passed it up at first by going down the street to another park. Came back. (See my other review.) We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Motorhome.
