Eagle View RV Resort, Fort Mcdowell, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is way overrated in past reviews. It is very expensive for what you get. Wi-fi is marginal at best. Paying for cable is a rip! Spa not hot enough. No decent shopping close. The park is on an Indian reservation in open desert. The park has asphalt pads, so good luck in the heat of summer, my space was not level. This park could have been great, if layed out with more space between spaces, and there was plenty of room to do just that. I will not stay again. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Umpqua Golf Resort – RV Resort, Sutherlin, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Great park, super price! This is also a highly rated golf resort park. Even though I do not golf, I was told the course is excellent. Lots of pull thrus, and some with wonderful views. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your every question. I ended up to be a full timer, and stayed 3 months. I am going back, after my southern snowbird trip. This park has changed it's name to Umpqua Golf and Rv Resort. We camped at Umpqua Golf Resort – RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Shadow Hills RV Resort, Indio, California

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, very clean and neat park. Great staff! After a long drive from Bakersfield, they fixed me up with a pull through. Although most spaces are back in, after I explained I was not great at backing up, and the sun was about to set into darkness, I was super pleased. My space was concrete, level, very long, and level, I did not have to unhook, big plus for me. I headed directly to the super clean and wonder spa, and shower. And after a nice quite evening, was ready to go. I stayed here overnight and would definitely stay again. We camped at Shadow Hills RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

I camped here for three nights on my way south from Oregon, for a break before tackling the LA mess. I loved this park, very friendly and helpful staff. They took a lot of time, explaining my questions. Big plus for me are the nice wide, long, pull through sites. And all the orange trees you could wish for, two at every site, hope to stay when they are ripe in December or January. Good Wi-Fi and cable TV. I would have rated this a 10 if there was a spa. But it will be my destination park again, when heading south or back up north. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Red Bluff RV Park, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Level pull through site, which is a big plus for me, did not have to unhook for just an overnight stay. Great folks at the office. I had to arrive a day early due to beating the weather, and coming from central Oregon. No problems, they fixed me right up. Nice and quiet, and everything very clean and neat. I really liked this park and will stay again. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
