Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks (formerly Glen Oaks RV Park), Waynesville, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We found the park to be neat and clean, as well as well maintained. Yes, it has gravel driveways, but they were level and free of potholes. We did not hear any noise from the nearby interstate. The staff was very kind and helpful. Probably not the place I'd plan to stay for a vacation, but definitely was a nice place to pull in and spend a night or two. We will definitely remember this place when traveling through in the future. We camped at Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks (formerly Glen Oaks RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Ivy's Cove RV Retreat, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground, wonderful facilities! Easy pull through sites, easy access on and off the interstate. Very well maintained. The restroom, shower, laundry facilities are some of the nicest we have seen. They have a beautiful, coded entry room that contains 3 private bath rooms with showers, 4 washers, 4 dryers, laundry folding table, large table to sit around and visit or work, a computer station complete with desktop computer and WiFi, a book exchange, magazines and a TV. This room has lots of windows and steps out onto a grand wooden porch. The owners are very kind and accommodating. A real treat and a very fair price. We felt very safe and secure. They had great Christmas decorations as well. We'll definitely stay there again. We heard NO noise from nearby businesses or roads or trains as previously mentioned. They are a new campground and trees will grow. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Travel Trailer.

J & J RV Park & Storage, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We love staying here. It's very easy access on and off the highway. They have level sites. They are a little close together but nice. Their shower/restroom facilities are kept exceptionally clean. The stream is beautiful and very peaceful to sit by. Close to town for lots of sites, shopping and "hot baths". Have stayed here many times and will do so again. We camped at J & J RV Park & Storage in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Ouachita State Park, Mountain Pine, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We love it here. Get reservations in advance because they are often full. There is very limited cell phone service but the beauty and peaceful surroundings make it worth the inconvenience. It is miles off the beaten path. Not really a place to pull into on your way, but a wonderful destination. The rangers are terrific. They have a great programs for all ages and a cool snake collection. We camped at Lake Ouachita State Park in a Travel Trailer.
