Forsyth KOA, Forsyth, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was a one night stop for us. Has everything you could need for a comfortable, inexpensive stop on the road. Full hook-up, relatively level pull-thru site, good electric power pod, adequate camp store, Wal-Mart and other stores & restaurants nearby. I did not use the bath facilities, they looked dated but adequate. Reasonably quiet even though it is close to the highway. This place also had the most permanent campers that I have ever seen (maybe a sign of the economic times). But most of the sites were clean and organized with a few exceptions on "trailer death row". Would stay here again for a stop over. Free Wi-Fi for 30 minutes, then $5 for a day, $10 for a week, and $20 for a month (I think). We camped at Forsyth KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Simply an overnight stop for us. Pleasantly surprised. Our pull-thru was level, full hook-up. Baths were clean. Park grounds were clean and well kept. It is obviously undergoing major renovations to some of the sites and common grounds. Hope we can still use it as a stopover. We camped in a Motorhome.

Topeekeegee Yugnee Park / Whispering Pines, Hollywood, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

All sites are paved and have new power pods. Most all are relatively level and plenty wide. Plenty of pull-thrus, for those that need them. Doesn't have that cramped in feel. We stayed in site #16 with a beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. Beware though, as this row is all pull-ins (not accessible for truck & trailers) Only drawback was no cable TV or WiFi service available. Great accessibility to south Florida attractions. Security checks cars entering at night, very safe and secure. We camped at Topeekeegee Yugnee Park / Whispering Pines in a Motorhome.

Cordele KOA, Cordele, Georgia

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Good one night stop for us. Large level pull-thrus. Clean showers. Camp store adequate. No cable TV. Could pick up WiFi signal from truck stop next door, but not very strong. There are some back-in sites that might be closer and have a good signal. We camped at Cordele KOA in a Motorhome.

Luxury RV Resort, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent location. Quiet. Close to beach (10-15 minute walk) and restaurants. Level back-in sites, some seem very long, others are not. Full-hookups with cable TV and WiFi included. Pets allowed. Showers and laundry were clean and there were enough during our stay. Would definitely return. We camped at Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.
