Harrah's Tunica Mid-South RV Park (Closed), Robinsonville, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Loved it! The lady at the front desk was fantastic. Went out of her way to be accommodating. Our site was level and everything worked. A vehicle is needed if you don't want to wait for the shuttle to the casino. Shuttle comes every hour to the front of the park. However, it does not run 24 hours a day. Comes through the park numerous times during the day but not hourly. Unless, you like shuttles and don't mind waiting, you really need a car. We camped at Harrah's Tunica Mid-South RV Park (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Camp Gulf, Miramar Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2008 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

It has good proximity to the water and clean bathrooms. Otherwise, it's a sandy parking lot. Office staff and management were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the blue-shirted jerks riding around in the golf carts. They told the campers next to us that we complained about their little dog barking at 1:30 in the afternoon. Understandably, the neighbors were furious. If the staff has a problem, they should handle it honestly instead of involving other patrons. We won't be back. Henderson or Topsail from now on! We camped at Camp Gulf in a Motorhome.

Camp Gulf, Miramar Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful, private bathrooms. Friendly staff. However, we paid for two nights. Had to leave for a family emergency after staying one night. Even though we left at 9:00am, they would not refund for the second night so, be aware. As long as you understand you are paying for the location (which is awesome) and not amenities, you will not be disappointed. Would have rated it higher if it were a better value and we had been refunded for the night we had to leave (two spots you know were filled that night)! We camped at Camp Gulf in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, cast members need to be available to help guests park - especially after dark. Spaces are very difficult to back into if the motorhome is more than 28'. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Austin Lone Star Carefree RV Resort, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

My family met there under unfortunate circumstances (my Dad's funeral). The warm and caring staff made us feel welcome and at ease from the second we arrived. Park is very clean, well maintained and secure. There is a shady, fenced dog park. Excellent South Austin location close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We camped at Austin Lone Star Carefree RV Resort in a Motorhome.
