Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

An excellent park though for the high cost I would have expected better Wi-Fi. Although parked only two rows away from the antenna, I could not connect and had to carry laptop to the office building. The restrooms are excellent though the functional division is rather strange--five showers but only one toilet in the male section. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Houston Leisure RV Resort, Highlands, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

There is a 10% discount with Good Sam membership. WiFi cost an extra $3.75 payable with credit card online. The park is convenient to I-10 but far enough away so that there is no traffic noise. We camped at Houston Leisure RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Good place for an overnight. Very accessible from I-10 and large shopping mall close. Traffic noise may bother some. Grounds well kept and pull-throughs concrete. WiFi and cable TV worked well. We camped at Campgrounds of the South in a Travel Trailer.

Quail Springs RV Park, Uvalde, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

A solid '8'overall with restroom and showers (men's anyway) easily a '9'. This park is a good bet for travelers to Mexico since the crossing at Eagle Pass is just one hour away. A 24-hour Wal-Mart is a quarter-mile away, with attached gas station. The only negative is that i could not locate a dumpster when leaving. We camped at Quail Springs RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
