Grants / Cibola Sands KOA, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA is located off the freeway so it is reasonably quiet. They gladly welcomed us and our dogs. We've stayed at this KOA before and will do so again. We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Truck Camper.

Elk Run RV Park, Elk City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Elk Run RV Park welcomed us and our dogs at their facility when the KOA to the east wouldn't allow us to stay there because our dogs numbered more than 2. Elk Run RV Park is easily accessed from the freeway, close to a 24 hour gas/convenience store and is reasonably quiet. We'll definitely stay there again on our way through Oklahoma. We camped at Elk Run RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed at this KOA many times. The managers are very nice. One year, after our tent was blown down in a storm and everything was soaked, they let us stay in an unused mobile home on the property. They even offered us bedding and towels. You can't get much better customer service than that! We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Truck Camper.
