Timberline Valley RV Resort, Anderson, Indiana

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a fantastic find. The owners obviously care about the park, and it shows. The washrooms are scrupulously clean, the amenities are wonderful, especially if you have a kid or two, with a lake, river access, a jump-pad, great playground and hiking trails. The Turtle Pond is also a treat! They have firewood and they deliver it to the site upon request (nominal charge for the wood) and the Wi-Fi is absolutely fantastic! Fast, always available, strong signal.

Definitely a great park and one not to miss when in Central Indiana. Absolutely WILL return. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

First Colony Mobile Home and RV Park, San Benito, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

This park, for us, was a gem. I would have to say it is our favorite place to stay when in the Harligen / RGV area. The manager is helpful and the staff were always available to lend a hand. The pool was wonderful and the sites were large and ours was actually a "double". I know they have been doing a ton of upgrades in the park even within the last year, and when we were there the WiFi (which is free) was being upgraded and we never had a problem connecting. I personally saw no real downside to this park and thus the high rating. We camped at First Colony Mobile Home and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mission Bell RV Resort (55+ park), Mission, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Overall, this park was big, it was very hard to get my rig in the spot they assigned, and when I asked if I could be moved a few spaces down they rolled their eyes at me. The manager was a fairly new replacement and was incredibly rude. The pool and hot-tub was nice, but the people were quite clannish and stuck to their own. We felt like outsiders. The WiFi was a mess with special passwords being required and such. Definitely would not stay again. We camped at Mission Bell RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Valley Of The Sun RV Resort, Marana, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of our favorite parks to stay in and is much better than most around Tucson. We would recommend that anyone in the area at least stop in and stay a night. The WiFi is awesome, the pool and hot-tub were both warm and inviting, the laundry was nice, but mainly the management, and guests were friendly and welcoming. We cannot say enough about this park and we will definitely be staying again. We camped at Valley Of The Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Kelly's RV Park, White Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I really do not like posting poor reviews, but this park is just not what it used to be. The owners are not friendly, the sites are adequate, but the management fosters an atmosphere of hostility from many of the residents toward newcomers or those in other cliques. It was an atrocious stay. No pool or hot-tub in Florida. I'm sorry but Kelly's gets a big thumbs down. Will NOT stay again. We camped at Kelly's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
