We camp in the fall, so this park has been very empty and spacious each of the two times that we have visited. We have found the staff to be very helpful, the grounds and buildings very clean. Sites we had were spacious pull-throughs, easy access. We give this campground an "8" because of two things. You have to pay for WiFi, $1.00 a day. Other campgrounds that we frequent include it in the price. For this daily fee, WiFi should be included. Also, there is an additional charge for a fire ring. In all of our years of camping, we have come to expect a fire ring to be included in the basic price of a campsite. But these are just minor issues. Overall, a very nice spot to use as a base to explore the Williamsburg area. Easy on-off to I-64. Only about 15 minutes to the visitor's center.

This was our fourth visit to this campground. A great spot for us to just get away and relax. Sites are spacious enough. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have never had a problem here. Never used the pool, but it appeared well cared for. Park has always been clean and well cared for.

We have found this to be a wonderful little park to use as a base while exploring Lancaster County. It is right in the middle of all of the attractions that we like to visit. It is adults only, but suits us just fine as our children are now grown. Why a nine? The sites are a little tight, so a campfire makes me a bit nervous. That is the only drawback that I can think of. But to just sit after a day of sightseeing, this park is perfect for us.
