Friendly helpful staff, easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The guests are the most friendly we have ever experienced. A great place for one night, a week vacation or spending the season. We camped at Luxury RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very rude staff, campground is not as portrayed on their web site, dog kennel was a muddy cage under a tree, we stayed one night then paid $10.00 per day cancelation fee ($70.00) just to get away. We camped at Tobermory Village Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Timber Lake, Huntington, Indiana

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Pros - This campground is owned and run by a wonderful young couple working very hard to build on and improve their campground. Sites have either a view of or are on a very nice 9 acre lake. Great for overnight or relaxing vacation in Indiana countryside. Cons - The campground has tight turns getting into sites. We camped in a 36' fifth wheel and were OK larger rigs beware. Summary: New larger sites are being built to accommodate larger rigs available spring '08 large rigs should call ahead. If you like to fish and camp you will like this one ! We camped at Camp Timber Lake in a Fifth Wheel.
