Musicland Kampground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent location to visit Branson, walking distance to the strip, a couple of theaters & restaurants; lots of trees & shaded fairly level sites that are mostly terraced on plateaus, a little tight for big rigs, not that many pull-thrus but they are long. Office staff very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable of attractions & shows in area, discount tickets available, office store well stocked w/souvenirs, good wifi, picnic table, pool. We camped at Musicland Kampground in a Motorhome.

Crossroads RV Park & Campground, Lyndon, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Very good overnight stop on Hwy 75 in southeastern Kansas next to corn fields, level gravel sites, friendly staff, good areas for walking dogs, storm shelter, freshly painted colorful picnic tables, excellent wifi; only complaint: speedbump noise from vehicles slowing down for roundabout on highway - suggest earplugs! We camped at Crossroads RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

WaKeeney KOA, WaKeeney, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Big sign that can be seen on freeway but poor signage getting into the place, have to drive into and around Conoco Gas Station. Nice & big place with long level gravel pull-thrus with grass, tree & picnic table, campground office has good store, pool, laundry, lots of cable channels & very good wifi. Great areas to walk dogs. We camped at WaKeeney KOA in a Motorhome.

Elks Lodge #2472, Keizer, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Off River Rd in town. About 40 spaces in big parking lot with gravel sites; choice of full hook ups or just water & power; camp hosts very accommodating. Can't park on blacktop, have to park rig & vehicles on gravel. Active lodge. Lots of shopping & restaurants nearby. Wifi recently upgraded and it worked really well but no cable hook-ups. We camped at Elks Lodge #2472 in a Motorhome.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Right of I-80, exit 99. Huge gravel parking lot with some fencing in between, picnic table, no grass. Good sized & well stocked store, very nice staff, pool, laundry, really big fenced dog area. Wifi really bad, 4 different Tengo Internet antennae but none of them would connect, had to use personal hotspot instead. The overnight sites are in the front open area by the office spaced away from the permanent residents. Not much at all here, there's hills right behind us and the freeway in front but it's not loud at all. Tanks in front of rv park, didn't feel it was a hazard and we weren't bothered by any train noise. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Very spacious streets, staff extremely friendly, long & wide level cement sites with grass in between, fenced dog area, numerous cable channels, wifi signal good; very nice laundry room ($1.50 wash), train noise at night no problem, could see but not hear freeway. Expansion & improvements being made, pool & hot tub under construction, new sites almost completed; only negative is that not all sites have picnic tables. Would definitely return. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Motorhome.

Elks Lodge #1371, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with previous campers, it is just a parking lot with power for 8 or so rigs. However, the sites have been newly blacktopped, re-striped and are a bit wider. Need to use jack pads on the new blacktop. Asked about the rv park plans and was told original plans were for a full service rv park, however the amount of money the City of Bend wanted made it impossible for the lodge, so parking lot it will remain. Little train noise, but no highway noise; nice, convenient safe spot for overnight or to visit area. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Elks Lodge #1371 in a Motorhome.

Wasatch View Estates and RV Park, Ogden, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Large mobile home park that appears to be converting sites from trailers to rvs but still many full-time residents interspersed with rvs. Large long sites. We got the last open spot on a Friday evening for $10 Passport America rate as it was power only. Could use sprucing up but pool area appeared nice. Good for one night stay traveling through. Staff very nice. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Junipers Reservoir RV Resort, Lakeview, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground in the middle of a working ranch. Dusty road going into the campground and, since it's high dessert, a bit windy. Beautiful grounds, trees at each gravel site. WiFi worked acceptably. Great gathering area for groups, lots of tables/chairs, and even has a piano. Watched an antelope in the early morning. If you like being away from it all, this is it. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bridge RV Park & Campground, White Salmon, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, friendly park. Level sites, great pet run area. Hood river bridge quite narrow and $2-$3 toll depending on length. Good wi-if, very clean restrooms, mini-mart store & gas pumps next door. Park is between train tracks and Hwy 14; if you want quiet, this isn't the place. Convenient to Hood River area. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Mallard Creek Golf Course & RV Resort, Lebanon, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park out in the country with a challenging golf course. WiFi was fine and is now included in rv rate, don't have to pay for it separately. Good bar/restaurant at the golf clubhouse. Paved sites with concrete slab for picnic table, old shade trees and ample dumpster/recycle areas. Only thing to make this place a 10 would be a pool. Very friendly out of state month-long guests escaping the heat of the southwest. Would camp here again. We camped at Mallard Creek Golf Course & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Charleston Marina RV Park, Charleston, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Park is a big parking lot that works well for serious crabbing & fishing folk with a great set-up for cooking/cleaning crab. Sites are level and boats can be parked right next to your rig. Very nice rec room for gathering. Heard there have been issues so now gates have combo locks on them, but also heard law enforcement is addressing problems. We've stayed here several times to crab and will continue to do so. Staff friendly and helpful. Right next to marina and very short walk to shops. We camped at Charleston Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camped here with a big group, were able to get a group of sites together and a couple of the sites were big enough for everyone to gather. Nice interior roads for walking & bike riding. Beautiful surroundings right on confluence of river & creek, nice fishing and hiking trails. Very interesting historical logging museum across highway. We camped at Collier Memorial State Park in a Motorhome.

Desert Willow RV Resort, Hesperia, California

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight, very convenient to I-15. Older park, sites are long enough but quite narrow. Our slides wouldn't extend in the site assigned but we were able to switch easily. Lots of noise from highway and town. Not much shade. Pool, spa, restrooms & laundry facilities all nice and clean. We were given the combo for the gate as it closes at 6 pm. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good cable reception and wifi worked well. Would stop here again. We camped at Desert Willow RV Resort in a Motorhome.
