One of the best parks we stayed at on this trip. Staff is very warm, friendly and helpful. Park has all needed services plus many most parks do not. Repair services, coach detailing in and out, good wi-fi and detailed information and recommendations on things to see and do in the area. Hope we have the opportunity to pass this way again and stay longer.

Been here many times over the years. The views along the river are neat with barges traveling up and down day and night. The facilities are acceptable with full hookups, but no cable. Problem is they are getting pretty pricey. Went up $10 a night from our stay in 2016, and that is with a GS discount. Our stays here will be shorter.

Mixed feelings about River View. Quoted one price on phone, charged more on arrival. Park seems to have been fitted in the terrain in awkward ways in some parts. Wi-fi is slow, water pressure with their mandated pressure reducer ($100 fine?) is dismal, and even the electricity at our site didn' handle loads very well. Scenery is nice, location is convenient and we had things to do in the area so our stay was OK, but seems over-priced.

Stayed just 2 nights on our way north through TX. Clean, quiet park with several long-term residents. Friendly owner/manager couple. Sites are slightly sloped but got close to a level for our rig. Just not much more than a basic campground but great at PA price.

This is a very new park with a few growing pains. Grass is very thin and ground gets very soft when wet. People cut site corners and are making mud problems. Not all facilities are completed yet, but new ownership is moving forward with some good plans. Hookups at the back-in sites are in very poor locations, but plans are to correct this. Small concrete patios are not convenient for most rigs positioning. Location is very good for us, as we visit family in the area every year. Lots of development of other recreational facilities near the park, so it likely will become a destination campground in coming years. If you want the lowest price back-in sites better bring long power cords, water hoses and sewer hoses. Pull through sites are more manageable for utilities.

Very nice state park with well spaced, long and paved pads sites. Full hook-ups plus cable available. Have stayed here before and will come back anytime we are in the area. Wildlife frequent the campground when camper population is low.

Overnight stop as we headed west. Facilities are adequate but nothing fancy. Not our idea of a destination stop but convenient to I-20/59 for travelers. Quiet and clean, easy in and out for big rigs. All gravel surfaces with concrete pads for units.

Date of Stay:

Short-termer's are put in sites which are very tight, all gravel and right by a very noisy road. Facilities otherwise are very good but plenty of sites farther away from the road were open and would have been quieter and better spaced. Have not seen any charges show on our account so "Nightly Rate" above is a guess. No sign of staff although phone calls are answered promptly from somewhere. Use primarily as an overnight stop.

Really nice park, but might not be for all rigs depending on occupancy rate. Sites are full hookup and reasonably spaced and paved (one section gravel) but some of the sites are less than level for some rigs. Really enjoyed the tours of Loretta Lynn's facilities and listening to her music. Park is woodsy but we got satellite OK. Phone service is really minimal, and no camp wi-fi. Our Verizon wi-fi was really weak, but that is not the campground's fault. They do not reserve by specific site so you can choose from the available ones that would fit your rig.

Great little park. They squeezed us in on an overflow site with 50-amp electric and water on a very busy weekend after another park messed up our reservation. Owners are very friendly and helpful with lots of area information available. Even our overflow site was nice with lots of grass and no noisy neighbors. Would definitely come back for a full hook-up site as first area choice next time.

We have visited this park many times and enjoyed every one of them. Camping on the Mighty Mississippi River is an interesting experience. The folks here are friendly and helpful. Seems amazing that the campground can be this nice when it goes underwater almost every year from river flooding.

Large park with full hookups. Fairly quiet although highway nearby can be noisy if wind is coming from it. Only used this as a short fill in on a trip. Seems overpriced compared to others in the area. And be careful, someone in the park has a radar gun and phones the gate if you move too fast on park roads, in spite of numerous speed bumps. Won't be on our favorites list.

We stayed here over Christmas and enjoyed touring the area. Park is quiet, well maintained and has friendly staff. Sites are a tad narrow but are separated by shrubbery and paved with concrete patio area. All utilities were good with strong wi-fi. Monthly rates are probably even better. Lots to do in the area.

Like to spend a few days here when we pass through. Well spaced paved full hookup sites. Do have to be choosey if in a big rig. Flat part of the paving on sites can be short leaving you with leveling problems. Prefer to be here in cooler months, which is also when it is less crowded. Pool and waterpark are available for $$ but we have never wanted to use them. Plenty to do in the area and our dog loves the beaches. We would be regulars if we lived in the area.

Great overnight stop spot with full hookups. Very friendly staff. Short term sites are pretty tight but adequate. Just not a long term spot for us. Have used it before as a stopover and would again.
