Tri-State RV Park, Matamoras, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was a last resort choice for an overnight. Only came here because the Wal-Mart down the road does not allow overnight parking. Campground is dirty, roads are gravel and potholed, sites are small, and I-81 road noise is unbearable. Choices along the route back north are very limited especially at this time of year. Would never choose to stay here again. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA, Kingsland, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access from I-95 but road noise not too bad. Person at check in was very curt and abrupt. Checked us in and ran out of the office to jump in her car and take off. Interior roads could use some work to smooth out pot holes. Firepit not cleaned out and had many cigarette butts. No picnic table at our site. Why isn't wifi included in rates? What century is this anyway? So glad for our Aircard. All pull through sites, many tall trees. Would probably stay again if we needed an overnight. We camped at Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA in a Motorhome.

Orlando / Kissimmee KOA, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very well maintained and staff was friendly and helpful. Check in went smoothly and we were escorted to our site. Had a long deluxe site with patio, table and chiminea. At these prices cable TV and Wi-Fi should absolutely be included. Close to 192 with much traffic but noise isn't too bad. Probably wouldn't stay here again only because of the price. Camped four nights. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

Holiday Cove RV Resort, Cortez, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Best thing about this park is its proximity to the beach. Staff and residents pleasant. Price exorbitant for what you get. Very limited amenities and what there is looks pretty shabby. Stream at edge of property smells bad. Park is being reconfigured and sites are now for sale. Yet another park going the unfortunate condo route. Won't be back. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.
