Patrick's Point State Park, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful ocean views! Nice campgrounds. No hook-ups but worth the view. Hot showers and hiking trails. Lots to see and do. Sumeg Village is beautiful and a working replica of a Yurok Indian village. Educational! If you visit Trinidad, it's a must see. We camped at Patrick's Point State Park in a Motorhome.

What a difference driving another 50 feet north from View Crest Lodge. We left a slum and found paradise! Great managers! Clean friendly park. We'll come back next year for sure! We camped at Sounds of the Sea RV Park in a Motorhome.

View Crest Lodge, Trinidad, California

ABSOLUTELY NO MANAGEMENT! Poorly maintained park with unleashed dogs running throughout the park. Animal waste in the roadways and trailer spaces. Dirty restrooms, no toilet paper, filthy showers, poorly maintained roadways. Tijuana Mexico has cleaner campgrounds. Two big thumbs down! We camped at View Crest Lodge in a Motorhome.
