Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Lots and lots of shade. Plenty of spots available on the lake. Sites are somewhat level and have plenty of space between other sites. They are in the middle of upgrading many sites with wood decks and gas BBQs, very nice. Staff was very friendly. We would camp here again. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camp RiversLanding, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. I have stayed in many State parks that were not as nice as this one. Staff was very friendly. We had a site right on the river so view was very nice. WiFi was not so great but did work better near the center of the park. Most sites look level except for ones near the river. We spent some time leveling our trailer but was ok, adds to the charm of this park. Lots of geese and ducks, even saw a beaver one day. There is a Tram that comes by about every 20 minutes. Perfectly positioned between Smoky Mountain attractions and Pigeon Forge attractions. We camped at Camp RiversLanding in a Travel Trailer.

Good KOA park, right off the highway. Very shaded spots. Not too much road noise. Sites were spaced well and somewhat level. Staff was very friendly. We would stay here again. We camped at Lake Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.
