North Ranch - Escapees Rainbow Park, Congress, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Been spending our winters here for 4 years. We really like it, obviously. Not sure why all the negative reviews. The lot owners, the ones we have met, are very nice. The only negative part is the dogs. Goodness, there are a lot of them. However, it is a nice, quiet and safe place to spend your winters. They are in the process of remodeling the restrooms, office and club house. There are a couple of pull thrus now. We camped at North Ranch - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.

North Ranch - Escapees Rainbow Park, Congress, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 5th winter at North Ranch. I really like it here, however, this year it seems they have given up on the grounds. We have been here a few months and have not seen anyone taking care of the old, dead weeds and the new ones growing everywhere. The long term spots are the worse. It is a quiet, safe place. Just too bad the managers have not kept it more presentable. We camped at North Ranch - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park. Very friendly staff. Good TV reception. Verizon and AT&T had full bars. Very quiet and very clean. Gravel pads but level. If we weren't expected someplace else, we would stay here a little longer than one night. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Triple C’s Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee We, Chattahoochee, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet little park. Had to move 3 times to get satellite to work. WiFi and phone worked great. Friendly staff, close to I-10. It rained for a few days and made a mess but, still a great place to stop. Mostly overnighters. We will stay here again when down this way. We camped at Triple C’s Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee We in a Fifth Wheel.

Wekiva Falls RV Resort, Sorrento, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for the month of Feb. There are 800 sites here and probably that many dogs with no training. And loud motorcycles at all hours of the day and nite. Staff friendly, clean park but noisy. We will not stay here again unless for passing thru. We camped at Wekiva Falls RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wildwood KOA, Wildwood, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old campground. Needs lots of TLC. Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub not working but that didn't bother me. We parked further away from the truck stop but could still hear the hum with the windows open. Verizon did not work here but the camp has free Wi-Fi. It's an OK overnight. We camped at Wildwood KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Lakes RV Park, Cumming, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean and quiet campground. No laundry or public restrooms but that really didn't matter to us. There were quite a few campers there but not many people. We watched the fireworks over the lake in different directions. We will stay here again. We camped at Twin Lakes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Etowah River Campground, Dahlonega, Georgia

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Maybe it's the wrong time of year. It was muddy and filthy. Dog poo all over the place and dirty diapers in the fire pit. No internet and my phone only worked part time. It was quiet. That is the only positive I can think of. We will not stay there again. We camped at Etowah River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pleasant Harbor RV Resort, Peoria, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean place, sites quite close. Make sure you ask if the "rules" have changed. We signed an agreement that stated we would pay $20.00 extra a month for our ATV Trailer. However, upon paying they had changed it to $50.00. Lots of dog area, even fenced ones, but some people still allow their dogs to do their job wherever. Any given minute of a day there will be dogs barking. We will not stay there again. We camped at Pleasant Harbor RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice campground, with lots of trees. There were no "homeless" people. The only annoying thing was the barking dogs. We camped at Crater of Diamonds State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The site was covered with cigarette butts. Lots of noisy, drunk people with music so loud you can't hear yourself think. The office was closed because it is Sunday, don't know the price until morning. Beware. We camped at Ouachita RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, clean, large pull throughs. We were right next to the large woods of oak trees. Surprisingly quiet as it is close to I44. We'll stay on our next trip through. We camped at Joplin KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Bar S RV Park, Milan, New Mexico

Very nice people, large lots and nice and clean. The only drawback was the constant train, day and night about every 20 to 30 minutes. We tried to drown it out with a fan, just didn't work. We camped at Bar S RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
