Silver Palms RV Resort, Okeechobee, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Ten Plus Park !!!! Yes, they do sell lots, but they include everyone in all activities throughout the park. The sites are very well spaced. they have Dinner and Dancing every Saturday night for six bucks a person. We came in for the three day special and stayed six weeks so far. Today at one of the three days they serve lunch the manager asked what can they do to improve the park. That is a first for my RVing time. We are planning on coming back and maybe buying. This park is worth a look, the pool is bigger than most. Their club house seats 350 people, activities throughout the day or just sit and enjoy. We camped at Silver Palms RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Gracious RV Park, Okeechobee, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Well, we tried but a 40 ft fifth wheel just won't fit in this park. The manger was very nice and returned our money. This park is old but well kept up. Smaller rigs would be OK here. There is fishing right at the river. Wish we could have fit in. We camped at Gracious RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tampa South RV Resort, Ruskin, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice place. Big rig friendly NO the roads are tight and hard to maneuver backing into a site was like impossible. The staff were great and helped. First site was blocked by a car from another site. Then on to a smaller one but we made it. Just wonder how to get out. The area is nice, but a ways from shopping. We camped at Tampa South RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sumter Oaks RV Park , Bushnell, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park. Yes, but not run down. We spent two months here, and loved the park and people. The mangers were top notch, and the help were also. The pool heater was down for a couple days, but repaired when the part came in. The sites are level and roomy. We will be back again. We camped at Sumter Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

People were very friendly. Host gave me the map with a couple sites blocked off. We had our choice of any of the others. I don't think you can do much better. We would stay here again. Came for all the Christmas shows: things are great ! We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Onapa RV Park and Campground, Checotah, Oklahoma

Overall Rating:

We rolled in here after along drive from the north. The park has recently been purchased by a young family and they are wonderful! Welcoming, helpful and very personable. We arrived after dark and the owner directed us to our site along with his kids. They stayed and offered us assistance with set up. We will stay here again! We highly recommend this park to anyone! The owner is redoing the electric and building new sites. Give this place a try, we did and thought it was great. We camped at Onapa RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Aransas Bay RV Resort, Aransas Pass, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground would rate a Ten but, can't till the pool, bath house and rec rooms are finished. I am sure they will be nice as the rest of the place is. The roads are not in but graded and watered down on dry days. Looking at the rest of the park you would think they will be a top ten campground in all the books. The hosts are very nice, they have a special under construction rate. I would reserve for next winter if I was going to winter in this area. We camped at Aransas Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Branson View Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The sites here were not level and tough to get in and out of. We used Passport of America, and were charged 3 dollars extra for cable TV that had poor reception: snow would come and go. The major stations were not on at all times. I watched several folks bottom-out and one guy damaged his trailer when leaving. I had to drive up on blocks to disconnect from my truck. I think I would pass on the View. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
