Nice location overlooking the Animas River. Convenient trolly service from Campground to Durango. Site wasn't very leveL but was adequate.

Date of Stay:

Good for overnight stay enroute to Mesa Verde. Level campsites, adequate facilities. Suggest selecting site away from road.

Very nice amenities, not far from I70. Aesthetically pleasing landscaping. Sites more than adequate in size. Very quiet. Service good. Will stay again.

Good overnight stay on the vast plains of Kansas. Limited noise as close as it is to I 70. Sites generally level.

One of the best campsites we have ever used! Outstanding personal services and friendly staff. Owners call you by name. Very close to Garden of the Gods. Highly recommended, will come back again.

Steven Foster is one of the very nicest state campgrounds in Florida. Very clean, tidy with beautiful amenities & scenery right by the Suwanee River. Enjoyed the Carillon performance at 2:00 and 4:00 PM. Interesting Steven Foster museum by the tower. Convenient to I-75. Would definitely stay again. Limited Wi-Fi and broadcast TV.

This is an outstanding campground with sites on the water which is very rare in Florida. Only two drawbacks - the first is that the bathhouses are in need of an upgrade. They are kept reasonably clean. Second is the WiFi service. Several years ago there was a major price increase implemented justified on the basis of offering WiFi. Problem is that this service is only available at the office and not through out the park. We have been coming here for five years and will continue to come based on the natural beauty and water front access.

Campground was a bit crowded but well kept up. Friendly people overall and we enjoyed the owner - he evidently spends a lot of time in the gym lifting weights. Pay by check - 3.5% fee charged for Visa, MC. Would stay again - good for short term stay and proximity to Honeymoon & Caldesi Island.

One of the few campgrounds in Florida right on the Gulf. Exceptionally beautiful with abundant bird life. Ft. Desoto is an outstanding park with nice amenities including a dog beach. The bath houses are in need of upgrading due to age and use - only reason why I didn't rate this with 10.

Oscar Scherer is one of the finest state parks in Florida. Clean restrooms, courteous and competent staff, lots of volunteers and activities. Highly recommended not withstanding difficulty in obtaining reservations.

Great location off of US 41, but far enough away to avoid traffic noise. Friendly and competent staff. Mostly month or longer campers in large Class A motorhomes - friendly neighbors. Convenient to Sarasota attractions such as the Ringling Museum, and to beaches such as Nakomis and Casperson. Highly recommend it, especially given how much less expensive it is compared with Sun 'n Fun.

Other than being a bit muddy from the heavy rains, it was fine. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful regarding local attractions. Site was level and adequate in size. Would return.

Notwithstanding other reviewers comments, road noise wasn't a problem with us. Site was large enough and level. Our grandson quickly fould other children to play with. Enjoyed the ice cream social and breakfast. Would return.

Fishing Bridge has a terrific location near the middle of Yellowstone. Absence of electrical hookups (understand they will be available in 2011), made camping a challenge which we were able to meet. Sites were adequate in size: no problems encountered. Camp hosts were very accommodating. Would return.

Great scenery and presence of ospreys and deer made this campground special. Very friendly and competent hosts made our visit a special one. Would return again to spend more time.
