Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site-Campground, Petersburg, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

There is an easy walking path to the historic village which we used after the visitor center was closed and had the whole town to ourselves!! Very buggy due to heavy rains at that time. The restrooms were well kept and well lit. There are two comfort stations. My kids liked the one in the back of the campground. There were only a few other campers when we visited, but it is a beautiful campground. We would camp here again. We camped at Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site-Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Park staff very flexible with site location. We were never able to level the rig because sites are so uneven. Lots for kids to do. Horse and buggy rides available one night during our stay. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave in a Fifth Wheel.
