Canyon Springs RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is the worst RV park I have ever stayed in. It is right next to a shooting range. I felt like that I was staying in a war zone with hours of shooting going on right next to the park. If you have children, I would not recommend staying here because of the chance of a stray bullet coming into the park. I would not walk or go outside when the shooting is going on. Also there is train track close to the park, so train noise occurs every time a train goes by.

I told them I wanted a quiet site but the people at the desk never mentioned the shooting range or trains. Don't stay here if you value peace and quiet. My site was not level and the RV sites are very close together. What a waste of $43. We camped at Canyon Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mission RV Park, El Paso, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Don’t believe the full page ad in a popular RV Park directory. This place is a dump located in an industrial area with about 75% of the spaces occupied by long term residents in mostly junk RVs. I saw signs warning of security cameras and a “guard” that was out on patrol – is this a safe RV park? Overnight guests are placed on the row closest to Interstate 10 with 24 hour noise of 18 wheelers going by every few seconds. There are no shade trees or picnic tables, just a dirt space with hook-ups less than 100 yards from the interstate. The check in person was about the coldest personality I have ever encountered in registering at an RV park. I will never use this park again. We camped at Mission RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park is run down with dying trees and vegetation. Only a few sites have limited shade trees. The check in staff was not very friendly. The cable tv and WiFi did work. I paid $30 a night for a site with 50 amp service. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Sage Valley RV, Fallon, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is an OK RV park if you don't mind the following: 1.Barn yard smells when the wind is blowing in the right direction - near by farm, dairy, ??? 2. Excessive traffic noise from highway 50 3. Cable TV - they have it but it does not work 4. Run down permanent trailers 5. Sites side by side - very tight fit for RVs with slides. We camped at Sage Valley RV in a Fifth Wheel.
