The only reason to stay here is the location - almost right on the beach with the marina on the other side. Everything else is lousy - restrooms (shared with the day use public) are always covered in sand. The laundry room (which we tried to use) was also a sandy mess. The sites are adequate but not all that large. Ours fit our motorhome nicely and we didn't have neighbors most of the time so it was fine. If you don't need to use such things, it's fine. The power was good and we didn't have any issues with the sewer although the hookup was a bit strange. Frankly, the boondocking areas have the best view and can watch the boats come and go but you pay $32 for just that. The park is way over priced. However, it is the only place where you can listen to the waves lull you to sleep. Oh, the firepit issue.. We got a LONG list of rules and one was on the kind of firepit you could bring (off ground, sides and a solid lid) Which we didn't have so we had them bring one of theirs. Simply a ring thrown on the ground. Really?

We had a nice site in the trees which worked for our big motorhome. But the sewer was located way in the rear of the site and impossible to hook up to without about 25 feet of hose. The restrooms were very clean and the showers nice. The restaurant had a very good breakfast and lunch - don't miss the onion rings - they are GREAT! It's a very quiet campground. It's about 18 miles from Ashland up a steep mountain road. There's no cell - no WiFi. We had to drive a bit down the road to find a place for cell. It would be nice if there was at least a pay phone or even WiFi at the restaurant. The lake was low when we were there but understand it's popular for fishing and water sports. Staff is great and friendly.

This is a family park. It's a great place for kids. We liked it better however during the week when the kids were gone and it was so very quiet except for the cows. The good - We had an easy access site for our big motorhome. Utilities worked well. We had great WiFi (but we were next to the office). The AT&T cell phone "booster" helped when you stood right next to it. Otherwise, don't expect any cell service. The fishing was GREAT. We caught our fish in a little over an hour and they were HUGE! Not exactly a challenge, but it was fun to finally land some fish and again, ,they were bigger than I've ever caught before (we caught one that was nearly 4 lbs). We didn't really use the bathrooms, but they seemed clean although are dated. Our satellite dish worked well in spite of all the trees.

Good overnighter... there's not a lot of choice out here along 58. Services worked fine, although we weren't able to use the 50 amp due to the way the box was organized. Cable worked well. Sites are level. There are some perm residents, but a large number of rigs use this for overnight (like us). Staff was pleasant. No idea what the showers/laundry/bathrooms might have looked like. Easy off the highway. I've been told the museum/visitor center for the 20-mule mine is really interesting, but we weren't staying that long...

First... this is not a campground. This is a place to stay while you are getting your rig worked serviced or repaired. There are six sites with water and power. The wifi is really fast. There's a nice lounge to wait while your rig is repaired. Don't expect quiet... this is a truck center. If you need it, this place is great!

It's hard to complain about RPI rate of $10... but... the RPI section is really in need of attention. Beware the water pressure is REALLY high. The laundry is inexpensive, but the machines are old and cranky. The access road is being fixed, but right now it's a downright hazard. However, the view is outstanding and we picked one of the wider nicer sites in the corner. But if there were lots of rigs, it would be really tight! Our site was fairly level. And if you want to crab or fish, this is the place to be. We didn't use the restrooms or rec room. We did visit the campground and pool on the "other" side, which I think is for members only or full-paying public and it seemed much nicer. But $10 is a cheap price for the view and 30 amps I suppose...

Rate is for a bay view which was nice. But next time, will pay $10 less for the next row. Sites are a bit strange - not all that level kind of hill shaped - probably for rain drainage? Everything worked very well. We didn't have a toad so the shuttle graciously took us into town for groceries. We did try to use our bikes, but the area is definitely not bike friendly. Casino food was okay. Buffet only on Monday and Tues and while the salad bar part was terrible, the rest of it was surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the pool and spa in the hotel.

Rate reflects a weeks stay. Can't beat the price for a full hookup with 50 amp. No cable or air TV. The water tastes lousy, but they have RO water in the laundry room for drinking/making coffee. This is right off I-5 so can be noisy. They have a boat ramp and nice area next to the river to walk. Lots of permanent residents, but the ones we met were friendly. We didn't spend anytime in camp really since we were attending to family issues in Ryderwood. Wouldn't stay there otherwise.

Nearly empty in late Oct. Sites pretty level and very big rig friendly, Everything seemed to work well. We had 30 amp as they didn't have anymore 50 amp. A bit strange since the park was empty. Many TV channels over the batwing so lack of cable no big deal. Wi-Fi worked fine. Nice dog area. Didn't visit the restrooms/laundry room and the pool was closed. Pretty nice view actually looking over the nearby fields. Good overnight place.

Small park. Yes, as the other review stated, the water isn't good: very salty. But there is free filtered water in the laundry room. Our rate reflects a week stay. The park would be a good choice for overnight. It's pretty close to I-5 and is within easy driving distance to Mt. St. Helen. The bad: Highway noise, water quality, sites a bit narrow. The good: New landscaping, a couple of new drive-through sites with 50 amp, nice laundry facility (but only one washer: it's new though), basically quiet. The long term residents are friendly. Nice tent sites by the river. We would stay again.

Nice resort: especially if you have an ATV as there is access to the dunes. The spaces are wide and separated by rows of bushes. Across the highway there is access to a beach and the lake. The dunes are perfect for letting the dog wander. There's a group campfire area with stocked firewood. That's nice since they don't allow individual fires. We would stay here again.

Rate reflects RPI plus extra for power/cable. This park is very quiet and in a pretty valley. If you fish, this is the place. Staff is very friendly. Sites are fine, power was good. Dog friendly. Could be muddy if it rains. The store has needed supplies. On Sundays, they cook a big breakfast. We will be back.

We stayed a week during an ATV rally. The rate was great and you get discount coupons for food and drink at the casino. TV was okay; internet didn't seem to work very well but we had a Verizon aircard which worked great. No AT&T cell service. Friendly staff. Well-stocked store and gas station. Some sites have lake view. For the area, this is a very nice RV park.

If you have a boat or quad, this is the place. There's tons of trails right across the street for quads/jeeps. You have to trailer the quads because this is California and they don't allow them EXCEPT on the trails. The pools are nice, love the pool bar. The mini golf course is fun. The sites are narrow and this is a gravel parking lot mostly. As members, we do get the river sites which is nice. There is a nice dog beach area and let them run in the desert across the street. Staff is friendly. It's mostly just a basic RV park really with a few resort features. It does have an inexpensive laundry facility and activities such as cards, bingo, dinners and such.

Great stop over place. Right off 58 which is very convenient. We get a site in the back which allows us to park both rigs (we have two tow vehicles - one with quad trailer) side by side. Nice pool and spa. You can hear the highway, but it's not too bad. For an overnight spot, it's great.
