Lake Louisa State Park, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, but in Florida you need shade and there is none at most sites. There are two beautiful lakes in the campground area but no sites on either lake and no views of them. Something I don't understand, if there is water let us see it. Clean and well kept, large sites but no privacy between sites. We camped at Lake Louisa State Park in a Motorhome.

Sun-N-Fun RV Resort, Sarasota, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This park looks good from the front check in area. We were put on a site in the back with mostly permanent residents. The pool area was nice the sites were awful. Like being in an old trailer park, most of the permanent trailers are old and run down. We camp in state parks often and are used to things being mowed and our site being clean upon arrival. This site was full of ants and had not been tended to in quite some time. We will not return. We camped at Sun-N-Fun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We camp here 3-4 times a year. It is Disney and there is a lot to do,even if you never go to the "parks". The sites could be bigger and there are loops we prefer over others. We enjoy coming here around the holidays, many campers decorate their site and it just gets me in the holiday spirit. Bathrooms are clean as well as all areas of the park. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort De Soto Campground, Tierra Verde, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We go here at least a couple of times a year. We enjoy it and its close to home. We are not crazy about their reservation system. There a a lot of raccoons and they are pretty aggressive, so don't leave anything out. Clean and well kept, sites can be hard to back into due to tree overhang. Price has went up recently so almost $40 with tax. For a county park it is a little pricey. We will camp here again. We camped at Fort De Soto Campground in a Motorhome.
