Delta Ridge RV Park, Inc., Forrest City, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Another one night campground. No bathrooms. That being said this was a great little campground. The owner was very gracious and accommodating. Restaurants less than a football field away. Walmart less than a 1/4 mile and a nice grocery store almost adjoining the campground. We camped at Delta Ridge RV Park, Inc. in a Motorhome.

Nice one night stay on our way home. Wifi was ok but not like home. Very clean campground and well maintained. We were escorted to our site and asked if he could do anything else for us. We camped at Checotah / Lake Eufaula West KOA in a Motorhome.

Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

As other posters have said, it was impossible to get the office on the phone. In fact, they still had the winter message on. This campground seemed to be run by people under 25 with very little customer service background. We found the bathhouses to be clean and the showers were too. When I made the reservations, the person told me of the construction and asked me to call to get the easiest way in. Needless to say the call was in vain. I thought that the camp maintenance was really good. Our site was close but not too close. Each day there the entrance changed because of the construction. They cut a back entrance but it did not open until later in the morning. This would have been the best way out had it been open early enough. Wifi was so so. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Manitou Springs is just a couple of miles west and it is well worth the visit, if you want to be taken back in time(60s). The locals seem to be living as was so prevalent in the 60s. The town has a great atmosphere. East about 2 miles is Old Colorado Springs. The old architecture appears to be from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Lots of tourist shops with unique gifts.

The location is great with Garden of the Gods less than a mile away, across the street is Red Rock Canyon, and Pikes Peak is close.

Riverview RV Park & Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was FULL, cramped and dusty(that is until it rained and then muddy). We couldn't keep our camper clean walking in and out. When our slide was out and the utilities were hooked up there wasn't room to walk between our site and our neighbors. Wifi was really slow and the cable TV had a poor selection. Our site was flat and a back-in. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Mill Creek Campground & RV Park, Paxico, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was very handy to the interstate. Manager/owner was very accommodating, in fact she offered and we took her up on providing a pizza for us. This quaint little town is not very active(understatement). Other than trains going by all night this was a great stop for us. Roads a little dusty. We camped at Mill Creek Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground with concrete pads. Very easy access. Only downside was the water pressure was extremely high(need a pressure reducer). Even though the price was high the environment was worth it. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We had a great stay even if it were only one night. Would love to come back. Good WiFi. Staff was very helpful. Sites were a little close but nothing compared to many campgrounds. Baths were clean. We camped at Bangor / Holden KOA (formerly Red Barn Campground) in a Motorhome.

Deerpark / New York City NW KOA, Godeffroy, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night. The campground is beautiful sitting in a valley along side a beautiful stream. Sites were nice. The bathrooms were clean but had no path to them to keep feet out of freshly mowed grass. Inside the showers were not very good. The one my wife went to shower in had a broken pipe that sprayed into the roof and then sprayed on her from the ceiling. Most of the bathrooms were locked the entire time we were there. My shower varied from hot to cold and no one else was in the shower house. We camped at Deerpark / New York City NW KOA in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Pines Family Campground, Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The closeness of the sites is an issue. We had to move our vehicle while someone else pull their RV into their site. We pulled into our site and the RV next to us had to back in. We both used the same utility post. WiFi was terrible. The bathhouse was very nice and clean. My rating for this campground is based on the closeness of the sites. We camped at Ponderosa Pines Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Land of Evangeline Family Camping Resort, Grand Pre, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Campsites are close but very acceptable. The grounds are well kept. I noticed that there were about 60% of the occupants were seasonal. The only excess noise we experienced were motorcycles. I really did not appreciate pay showers after paying for our campground. We can tell you that from our site we were able to get Dish satellite tv. We camped at Land of Evangeline Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Bass Harbor Campground, Bass Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground close to Bass Harbor light house. Sites are close. Some sites don't make a lot of sense as to their layout. Showers are fine (free). On Saturday and Wednesday's there is a lobster special and is really a good price and is tasty. Wifi was good. We camped at Bass Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Some great restaurants are close. Thurston's Lobster Pound and Upper Deck were two. Acadia Park is wonderful place to enjoy. If you are in to tourist locations, then Bar Harbor would be the way to go.

Roads were STEEP but the host led us to the site. Riding the ferry (free) over to the campground was very fun. Lots of seasonal campers. Oh, did I mention the steepness of the roads. Our site was very nice on top of a hill. We camped at Harding's Point Campground in a Motorhome.
