It is 6 miles off main road up a very winding, narrow road with many low hanging branches. Some sites are very narrow with low hanging tress on some sites. It provides a beautiful view however it is located some distance to local attractions. It is difficult to find your Site especially if you arrive after dark. There is no cable TV and on most sites a satellite will not work.

We can't believe the last 3 ratings on this park. We have stayed here twice a year since it opened 3 years ago. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. They greeted us outside when we arrived, escorted us to our site, showed us where the hook-ups were and even came back a little while later to make sure everything was alright. They provide excellent cable TV with several HBO channels and free Wi-Fi at the site. Everytime we return to this park we see improvements to the landscaping. The park is only 3 years old, so not too many trees to block satellite. We highly recommend a stay at this park. It is an easy on and off of I-10, and a halfway stop between many cities in Texas and Florida. We suggest reservations at this park as it is very busy. All the overnight sites are big rig friendly with 70 foot pull-through sites and plenty of room for slides.

We stayed here two nights. This is an outstanding Park, very clean, easy access to each site, trash pick up at your site, warmly greeted upon arrival and very helpful escort to your site. We would definitely stay here again and this would be an excellent Park to spend a "snowbird" winter in.

Sites extremely narrow - if there are two RV's parked next to each other then neither one can put out their awnings and in some Sites slides can not be extended if there is another RV parked next to you. Managers presented a very "dictatorial" attitude towards the Guests and were not very helpful. Front of park is for newer RV's and the back of the Park is closed off by an access gate and contains what appears to be permanent people in very old trailers. Would not stay here again even though it is very convenient for "sightseeing" in the local area.

Called to make a reservation for a pull thru site with cable tv. Offered to "hold" the site with a credit card and was told it was not necessary because they had plenty of sites available. Arrived at the Park, checked in and went to the site. Site was wet, muddy, uneven with ruts and NO cable tv. Called the office and was told all the cable sites were rented. Asked for a refund and was refused. WILL NOT stay here again.
